Abstract: A method which allows standard telephone users to audio conference with video conferencing participants over IP networks in a private secure environment. A dial-out is performed from one or more conference client terminals bridging audio between the Internet and the PSTN networks. The process uses a mixed mode hybrid network architecture for call set-up, initialization and teardown including the method to mix audio at the desktop terminal instead of in a general purpose server as in the prior art. The method conferences video and audio between multiple clients and include audio from a standard telephone network within the conference. A virtual private network connects all of the IP clients together including the voice over IP server used to transcode the proprietary audio into the H.323 standard for transport into the telephony network.

Abstract: A method for verifying a multiple prescription order having a plurality of different medications is described. The method comprises receiving a prescription order that includes a first medication that is different from a second medication. Additionally, the prescription order indicates that the first medication and second medication are to be taken at regular intervals. After entering the prescription order into a graphical user interface, the method verifies the entered prescription order by comparing the entered prescription order to the multiple prescription order. Multiple prescription packages are generated that combines the first medication and second medication in the same package that are intended to be taken at the prescribed interval. Each multiple prescription package is then inspected, and a verification process is initiated that confirms that the first medication and second medication are within each multiple prescription package.

Abstract: A system and method for generating a virtual tour on a display device is described. The method comprises providing at least one map. The method further comprises providing a plurality of sequenced images, wherein each of the images is associated with at least one location by a geo-coding module configured to generate a geo-location object data sheet that associates sequential images with a corresponding location. The sequenced images are organized based on the location of each of the sequenced images and displayed on the map. The method is implemented by the system.

Abstract: A jump safety system and method for monitoring a jump landing area is described. The system of examining a landing area associated with the jump includes a camera, a memory, a processor, an image processing module, and a light emitting output. The camera is positioned to generate a camera output that displays the landing area. The landing area has a declining slope angle that reduces a landing force in relation to the slope angle. The image processing module, which is controlled by the processor, determines a landing area clear status by analyzing the camera output and determining the landing area is clear of obstructions. A landing area obstruction status is determined by identifying that there is an obstruction in the landing area. The light emitting output communicates either the landing area clear status or the landing area obstruction status.

Abstract: A foldable box holding a plurality of pouches is described. The foldable box comprises a lid, a cavity, a means for indicating the medications in each pouch, a means for associating the medications in the foldable box with a particular patient, a means for closing the box, and a means for recording that the medications in the pouch have been consumed. The lid is adjacent to a back wall that is rotatable along a first fold line. The bottom wall is adjacent to the back wall, two side walls, and a front wall that forms a cavity configured to receive a plurality of pouches. At least one pouch comprises a plurality of different tablets corresponding to a plurality of different medications that are for a particular patient.

Abstract: A golf training apparatus that is capable of operation both indoors and outdoors is described. The apparatus includes a plurality of anchor points, through which there are placed a plurality of anchors, typically comprising golf tees, for anchoring the apparatus outdoors. The apparatus further includes a cleated surface configured to adhere to a carpeted surface for anchoring the apparatus indoors. The apparatus further comprises a guide line retractably coupled to a tensile mechanism, whereby a golf player may, after coupling a golf club or putter to the guide line of the apparatus, determine based upon the motion of the guide line, whether the player's stroke is accurate or requires correction.

Abstract: A method to link a light emitting reporter to biomolecules with nucleotide oligomers is described. The light reporter particles are silylated and functionalized to produce a coated light reporter particle, prior to covalently linking the biomolecules to the light reporter particle. The light reporter particle generated by the methods of the invention can be excited by a light excitation source such as UV or IR light, and when the biomolecule is DNA, the attached DNA molecule(s) are detectable by amplification techniques such as PCR.

Abstract: A pill assembly configured to receive the correct selection of medications in the correct dosages for a particular patient. The pill assembly comprises containers wherein at least one of the containers is configured to receive a plurality of different pills. The containers are adjacent to one another. The pill assembly also comprises a plurality of lids. Each of the lids is configured to seal a corresponding container. The containers have a top surface with a flange that is configured to receive the corresponding lid. Each lid has a surface that is configured to receive a printable indicia with patient specific information. The pill assembly may also comprise a sleeve that is configured to slidably interface with the containers.

Abstract: A multiple prescription package having a plurality of different medications is described. The multiple prescription package comprises a plurality of multiple prescription containers, a marking on each multiple prescription container, a detailed label, and a secondary package. The plurality of the multiple prescription containers are sequentially ordered to permit sequential dispensing of at least two medications that are different from one another. Each of the multiple prescription containers is associated with a prescribed time interval determined by a prescription, and each of the multiple prescription containers comprises the different medications that are sealed within the multiple prescription containers. The marking on each multiple prescription container indicates the prescribed interval when the medications are consumed. The detailed label provides a plurality of medical information regarding the medications.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a computer system within a computer network having multiple computers connected together using telecommunications mechanisms for graphically interacting within immersive online communities. A user selects a set of desired characteristics associated with a personality for creation of a first intelligent virtual object. The first intelligent virtual object interacts with other intelligent virtual objects within the immersive online community utilizing predetermined interface tools such that said other intelligent virtual objects receive real-time responses to stimuli initiated by said other intelligent virtual objects. The first intelligent virtual object interactively passes user generated content between said other intelligent virtual objects and said user under administrative controls.

The system comprises a local client, a plurality of geo-located objects (GLOBs), a GLOB Data Sheet, a grouping of GLOBS, and a display device are described. The local client is configured to collect a plurality of objects, in which each object is composed of digital information. Each of the geo-located objects (GLOBs) comprises a location component that is associated with each object. One GLOB Data Sheet (GDS) is associated with each GLOB and each GDS is configured as a data structure that comprises one or more auxiliary data fields that are searchable and store auxiliary information associated with each GLOB. The grouping of GLOBs is organized as a function of time and location information that is gathered from each GDS. The display device is configured to present the organized grouping of GLOBs.

Abstract: A system and method of playing an interactive bingo game. Each game session comprises a plurality of game events in which the bingo game draws at least one bingo number from a set of bingo numbers. The player is provided with one or more bingo cards. The game drawn bingo numbers are matched to the bingo cards and the player is awarded a prize according to a dynamic paytable. The dynamic paytable depends on a plurality of dynamic variables that are modified during the game session. The dynamic paytable further comprises a plurality of triggering events that are associated with a plurality of bingo patterns, and a threshold event that is engaged after one or more triggering events. The threshold event is configured to determine a plurality of prize credits awarded for each subsequent bingo pattern. Each of the plurality of multiple prescription containers is associated with a prescribed time interval determined by the multiple prescription order, and each multiple prescription container is configured to receive the different medications. The first labeling component is configured to generate a detailed label that provides a plurality of medical information regarding the different tablets.

Abstract: The invention is a gaming system and method that includes a dynamic paytable. The method operates by enabling a game session that includes a plurality of game events. After each game event, the player is given an opportunity to terminate or continue the game session. The player can use skill to determine whether to terminate or continue the game session. A paytable determines whether a prize is awarded to said player after each game event. In one embodiment, the dynamic paytable is displayed on a player interface. During the game session, the player may terminate the game session before the remaining game events are completed. The player is provided with an opportunity to view the paytable and can generate a strategy to maximize the prize awarded or minimize losses generated during the game session.
