  • Patent number: 8235296
Abstract: A laser method of printing a pattern on works which is read at a high read rate by optical readers and a system for implementing the laser processing method are described. Print pattern data is generated based on printing conditions including at least an original print pattern such as a character string that are specified by users and then converted into data representing an actual print pattern to be actually printed on works according to a three dimensional profile of the works so that an orthogonal projection of that actual print pattern is identical with the original print pattern.

  • Patent number: 8237587
Abstract: A continuously-arranged sensor system is provided that can eliminate a shift in timing between a determination signal of each sensor unit and sensor information relating to the determination signal. The continuously-arranged sensor system includes a network unit and a plurality of sensor units, which are connected by a serial transmission line and a parallel transmission line. In accordance with a command sent from the network unit, each sensor unit transmits the determination signal and the sensor information, provided at the same time as the determination signal, to the network unit via the serial transmission line. Therefore, the network unit can obtain the determination signal and the sensor information exhibited at the same time.

  • Patent number: 8233665
Abstract: An image of a measurement object is displayed, and specification of a feature image and a measurement position is received on the displayed image. The feature image, the specification has been received, and information on relative positions for the feature image, which represents the measurement position and a display position of a dimension line, are stored. A newly acquired image of the measurement object is compared with the feature image to identify information on the attitude and the position of the image of the measurement object. A measurement position is set for the image of the measurement object with the identified attitude and position, and then predetermined physical quantities are measured. Based on the stored information on the relative position for the feature image displaying the dimension line, a dimension line indicating a measurement position and a measurement result are displayed at predetermined positions.
