The portable fan comprises a housing, foam blades, rubber mat, knob, ON/OFF switch, and battery compartment. The inclusion of foam blades is a safety design in that foam blades will not inflict any substantive injury to anyone who touches said blades while in motion, i.e. the infant. The portable fan can also be integrated into the design of a crib mobile in order to circulate air from above the crib.

The selection stem is connected to an armature positioned between the lid and a bottom disk having openings thereon; upon rotation of the selection stem and armature, covers rotate and either expose or cover the openings of the disk thereby providing access to either compartment situated there under.

The handle accessory can be connected to the shaft for use as a root whacker tool or attached to the blade to form an ax. An accessory saw can be stored within the shaft when not in use, and can be attached to the handle accessory for use as a saw. The shaft is aligned above the desired cutting surface via a slide hammer that slides vertically about the shaft, and a footplate, which secures the blade with respect to the shaft.
