  • Patent number: 7096629
Abstract: An installation system designed specifically for thin reinforced natural stone panels used as exterior cladding, re-cladding, or over-cladding of buildings is comprised of a series of extruded aluminum shapes which, when properly applied to the back side of the thin reinforced stone panels, provide structural support for the thin panels and facilitate their installation and will also provide the means for the panels to be pre-assembled in order to obtain desired shapes or profiles and to be easily installed on the building. The series, or family, of extruded aluminum shapes are designed to mate or interlock to perform a variety of tasks such as perimeter frames, structural stiffeners, corner angle supports, interlocking sleeves, runner clips which facilitate attachment to various substrates of a building such as steel stud framing, aluminum curtain wall frames, brick or concrete walls or plywood sheathing.

  • Patent number: 6991090
Abstract: A suspension-conveyor diverter for a conveyor for transporting hanging objects, including items of clothing hanging on hangers disposed on the conveyor, and having a conveying guide for a driveable conveying member, and also having a first carrying-element guide for at lease one transporting roller, on which the object can be hung by a carrying element such that the carrying element engages with the conveying member, and further having a second carrying-element guide, which is spaced apart from the first carrying-element guide. It is noted that a pivoting guide is provided with one end being articulated on one carrying-element guide, and which is preset such that the other free end of the pivoting guide strikes against the other carrying-element guide, so that the pivoting guide connects the first carrying-element guide and the second carrying-element guide to one another. The pivoting guide is set up for actuation, such as for deflection, by the carrying-element.

  • Patent number: 6859668
Abstract: The present inventions pertains to the field of automatic control systems based on computer technology, and essentially relates to a structured system for monitoring and controlling the engineering equipment in an installation, mainly a building comprising several floors. The system includes a central computer module with an input-output device as well as a plurality of monitoring and/or measuring and/or control sensors and/or control devices for the units and apparatus of the engineering equipment in the building. The module consists of a programmable computer server station having functions, according to the software, that provide for the centralized reception of monitoring data through information channels within a single network protocol, as well as for the processing of said data and for the output of control signals towards the control devices for the units and apparatus of the engineering equipment in the building.

  • Patent number: 6387198
Abstract: In order to produce an aluminum alloy substrate for a lithographic printing plate wherein grain structure refining and homogenizing are promoted, and the uniformity of the appearance of the grained surface is particularly improved, the process of the present invention comprises the steps of: homogenizing an aluminum alloy ingot comprising 0.10 to 0.40 wt % of Fe, 0.03 to 0.30 wt % of Si, 0.004 to 0.050 wt % of Cu, 0.01 to 0.05 wt % of Ti, 0.0001 to 0.02 wt % of B and the balance of Al and unavoidable impurities, at temperatures of 350 to 480° C., successively hot-rolling the ingot with a plurality of passes in such a manner that the aluminum alloy is not recrystallized prior to the hot rolling of the final pass and recrystallized at least in the surface layer of the hot-rolled plate by only the hot rolling thereof to form a recrystallized structure having an average recrystallized grain size of less than 50 &mgr;m in a direction normal to the rolling direction, and cold-rolling the hot-rolled plate.
