Abstract: A system and method of enabling access to remote information handling systems is disclosed. In one form, a method of enabling an initialization of an information handling system is disclosed. The method can include receiving a request to initialize a remote information handling system, and determining an access information operable to enable an initialization sequence of the remote information handling system. The access information can be configured to enable an initialization of the remote information handling system. The method can also include communicating the access information via a network to the remote information system.

Abstract: A method of obtaining content includes receiving a playfile. The playfile includes a chunk ID corresponding to a chunk of the content, a packet ID corresponding to a packet of the chunk, and a hash of the packet. The method further includes obtaining the chunk from a peer, determining a calculated hash for the packet, and discarding the chunk when the calculated hash does not match the hash in the playfile.

Abstract: An Internet service provider includes a cache server and a network aware server. The network aware server is operable to determine an optimization between a cost of retrieving content from a network and a cost of caching content from the network at the first cache server and then send a content identifier to the cache server. The cache server is operable to receive the content identifier, and determine the source of a content item. If the source is the same as the content identifier, then the cache server caches the content item.

Abstract: A client computing system includes a processor that receives a domain name and determines if the domain name is in a list of domain names that are associated with a content delivery network (CDN). In response to determining that the first domain name is in the list, the processor directs a domain name system (DNS) request to a CDN DNS server, instead of to the default DNS server.

Abstract: A method for determining a state of personal finances includes establishing a personal finance code. The personal finance code includes amounts associated with a set of sources of income and amounts associated with a set of uses of funds. The personal finance code includes amounts associated with a set of asset categories. The set of asset categories include income producing assets, income consuming assets, and non-producing income producing assets. The method also includes determining a set of guidelines associated with the personal finance code. The set of guidelines is associated with at least one time period. In addition, the method includes deriving a comparison between the set of guidelines and a set of fiscal behaviors. The set of fiscal behaviors is associated with the at least one time period. The method further includes projecting the comparison over at least one subsequent time period to determine a projected effect.

Abstract: A device includes a plurality of voltage regulators, and a test module. Each of the voltage regulators are configured to provide a regulated voltage to one of a plurality of subsystems. The test module is in communication with the voltage regulators, and is configured to perform a subsystem component inventory for each of the subsystems at a start of a power-on self-test of the device, to determine a configuration of the device. The test module is also configured to capture first voltage data for the subsystems during an idle operation, to capture second voltage data for the subsystems during a stressed operation, and to set a voltage set point for each of the regulated voltages provided by one of the voltage regulators based on the subsystem component inventory, a power requirement table, or the first and second voltage data.

The first impeller is disposed within the fluid chamber and configured to distribute a first electromagnetic field produced by the integrated circuit within the fluid chamber along a first axis. The second impeller is within the fluid chamber and configured to distribute the first electromagnetic field produced by the integrated circuit within the fluid chamber along a second axis. The radio frequency measurement antenna is disposed proximate the fluid chamber and configured to measure an electric field and a magnetic field of the first electromagnetic field.

Abstract: A storage area network (SAN) includes a management server, a storage device, and a management station coupled to a fabric. The management server implements device domains on the SAN. The storage device instructs the management server to add new device domains on the SAN. The management station defines the new device domains to include the storage device and an initiator coupled to the fabric, and directs the storage device to instruct the management server to add the new device domains. A method includes coupling a management server to a SAN fabric, implementing device domains in the management server, defining a new device domain that includes a storage device and an initiator coupled to the SAN, and coupling a storage device to the SAN fabric, the storage device being operable to instruct the management server to add the new device domain.

Abstract: The “dual stack” capability of a network supporting two or more address spaces is used to perform host discovery in the network address space of one network address format using the network address space of another network format (e.g., via a PING sweep in the network address space of the other network format). The host discovery can be performed using addressing in a smaller network address space (e.g., IPv4 network address format) to discover hosts in a larger network address space (e.g., IPv6 network address format), or vice versa.

In a particular form, an information handling system can include a processing system configured operate using a power system configured to power a shared resource of the processing system and a non-shared resource of the processing system. The information handling system can also include a low-power processing system configured to access the shared resource of the processing system during operation of the low-power processing system. The operation of the low-power processing system can be separate from the operation of the processing system. Abstract: A networking device includes a port, and a management module that identifies fabric subsets that include networked devices that can exchange information with each other, detects that a networked device was uncoupled from the networking device, and modifies the fabric subsets. A Fibre Channel switch includes ports, zones and a management module. Each zone includes subsets of devices coupled to the ports, and permits the subset of devices to exchange information with each other. The management module detects when a device becomes uncoupled from a port and automatically updates the zones to restrict the device from exchanging information with other devices. A method includes identifying fabric subsets in a network, selecting a fabric subset that includes networked devices that are permitted to exchange information with each other, detecting that one of the networked devices has become uncoupled from the network, and automatically modifying a portion of the network fabric.
