  • Patent number: 7314215
Abstract: A new and improved pivotally angled V-block work holding instrument that embodies the varied uses of the present invention is herein introduced. It provides a holding device to enable the support of a workpiece for machine tooling comprised of a base block having a rectangular flat bottom surface, two upright inverted W's positioned laterally and symmetrically, and two pivoting panels attached between them at the apex of each point by a hexagonal screw. The general purpose of the pivoting heads is to enable independent adjustability of varying angles. This provides greater choice of applications for supporting a variety of angled objects.

  • Patent number: 7221552
Abstract: A personal defense device is provided that includes a shield and an electric shock device. The shield is configured to protect a user and circuitry from physical attack. The personal defense device is configured to be worn by a user such that it is difficult or impossible for an attacker to remove the personal defense device during an attack. In one embodiment, the personal defense device includes a gauntlet-style glove attached to the shield and electric shock device so as to provide protection for a user's forearm. The electric shock device is configured to deliver less-lethal electrical shocks and/or sparks to startle, disarm, and repel an aggressor.

  • Patent number: 7100953
Abstract: Grip and flip barbeque utensil with a handle housing, a pair of concentrically arranged elongated tubes, a spatula member, a food gripping member, a pivot shaft, a food gripping tip, a yoke portion, gripping ball chain, flipping ball chain, grip trigger and a flip trigger. The gripping member is attached to the yoke portion straddling the end of the inner tube. The gripping ball chain is attached to the pivoting gripping member and extends through the inner tube to the gripping trigger. The gripping member is caused to rotate downward toward the spatula member when the gripping trigger is pulled. When the flipping trigger is pulled, the gripping member and the spatula member are caused to rotate one hundred and eighty degrees thereby creating a flipping action. A preferred embodiment includes a temperature sensor and associated sensing electronics and temperature display located within the handle housing.

  • Patent number: 7004057
Abstract: Ammunition feeder with a handle portion and a head portion. The handle portion is integrally attached to the head portion. The handle portion is a flat elongate shape having raised portions to help the user maintain his grip on the handle. The head portion is shaped to accept the front end of a standard ammunition belt. The head is flattened longitudinally on one side and includes a longitudinal recess so that the feed pawl on a standard machine gun is not activated by the head. A preferred embodiment includes that the feeder fits with the M 60 machine gun and the 240 Golf machine gun.

  • Patent number: 7003913
Abstract: Vegetable Cradle with a rigid support platform that is radially curved when looking at an end view and straight and parallel to the ground when looking at a side view. A plurality of legs are attached the underside of the platform to keep the lowest portion of the platform approximately one inch off the ground. The platform has a plurality of ventilation slots and or apertures thereby allowing a fruit or vegetable to be ventilated. The platform is constructed of transparent material such as clear acrylic plastic. In a preferred embodiment, the legs include a broad foot to help prevent the legs from sinking into the ground.

  • Patent number: 6923292
Abstract: Our invention describes a muzzle or exit exhaust attachment for firearms or other thermodynamic heat engine jetting devices and incorporates magnetic field diversion design features not previously utilized to increase efficiency in the reduction of noise, flash, barrel whip, exhaust flame temperature and muzzle blast effect. Our invention advantageously applies relatively recent discoveries in the field of ballistic studies; know as transition ballistics, and mitigates the high velocity, high pressure exhaust gasses from the instant of existence through decline to atmospheric pressure with greater efficiency than prior art devices such as, silencers, suppressors, mufflers and sound absorber attachments.

  • Patent number: 6900565
Abstract: The present invention is a electronic motor control apparatus designed for use in hazardous/classified environments, such as described in Article 500, Section 500.7 of the NFPA 70/National Electrical Code. The invention comprises a third party approved (i.e., UL Listed, UL Classified, CSA Certified, FM Approved, CE Approved) explosion-proof outer shell of aluminum, an interior controller, and a plurality of conductive plates to carry heat away from the interior controller to the external shell and environment. The controller may be an inverter or a solid-state device, and may be capable of variable frequency and voltage output. Interior and/or exterior cooling devices, such as fans, may be attached or adjacent to the apparatus to assist in heat dispersal. Interior air circulating booster fans may be installed inside the apparatus to increase internal air film coefficient, thus providing a maximized heat dissipative atmosphere.
