    Abstract: A perforating apparatus (100) includes a plurality of shaped charges (102) each having an initiation end and a discharge end. A detonating cord (116) is operably coupled to the initiation ends of the shaped charges (102). A carrier (106) contains the shaped charges (102). The carrier (106) includes at least one discharge location corresponding to the discharge ends of the shaped charges (102) when the perforating apparatus (100) is in its operable position. The discharge location has first and second material layers (122, 124) wherein the second material layer (124) exhibits resilient recovery such that an opening created by a jet formed from detonating one of the shaped charges (102) in the second material layer (124) is smaller than an opening created by the jet in the first material layer (122), thereby retaining debris in the perforating apparatus (100) with the second material layer (124).

    Abstract: A submersible pump assembly (100) for removing a production inhibiting fluid (102) from a well (110) and method for use of the same is disclosed. The submersible pump assembly (100) includes a composite coiled tubing (120) and a submersible pump (112) coupled to the tubing (120) that is disposed within a fluid accumulation zone (104) of the well (110). The tubing (120) defines a fluid communication path substantially from the fluid accumulation zone (104) to the surface. The submersible pump (112) includes a port (114) for intaking production inhibiting fluid (102). The tubing (120) includes a composite layer in which energy conductors are integrally positioned. The energy conductors provide power to the submersible pump (112) such that the production inhibiting fluid (102) may be pumped from the fluid accumulation zone (104) to the surface via the fluid communication path of the tubing (120).

The crossover valve (126) is operable to selectively allow and prevent fluid communication between the production tubing (120) and the second annulus.

Software operating at the mobile device and the host system then synchronizes the folder hierarchy of the mobile device with a folder hierarchy of the host system, and any actions executed on the data items at the mobile device are then automatically replicated on the same data items stored at the host system, thus eliminating the need for the user to manually replicate actions at the host system that have been executed at the mobile data communication device.

The tubing string assembly (40) is then repositioned such that the production screen assembly (58) is located proximate the perforated interval (14) so that when the well is hydraulically fractured with a treatment slurry that is pumped through the ported sleeve (66), the formation reaction to the fracturing is monitored by obtaining pressure readings in the annulus in fluid communication with the live annulus screen assembly (76).

The advancement of the drill string (52) and rotation of the drill bit (30) is ceased when the completion assembly (50) has reached the desired interval of the wellbore (32). The uphole end of the second wellbore is coupled to the lap region (80) of the first casing (74) to create a mechanical connection and a hydraulic seal, thereby creating the monobore wellbore (68).
