Abstract: Plier type toggle wrenches may be divided into two broad types: the more common type in which the tool is caused to remain in its gripping mode when a portion of the toggle crosses over, or beyond the toggle center line; and, the less common type in which the toggle does not cross the toggle center line when the tool is in the gripping mode. The second type will not remain in the gripping mode unless the user applies continuous hand pressure, or, a releasable latching means is used to prevent the tool from opening. The present invention relates to the second type of toggle wrenches, and, in the preferred species of the invention, the latching means is in the nature of a sear, the elements of which engage in locked position when the tool is gripping a workpiece.
Abstract: A magnetic fluid conditioner for abating the adherence of precipitates in conduits transmitting a variety of liquids and/or gases which contain unwanted compounds capable of adhering to the inner walls of the fluid transmitting conduits, the magnetic fluid conditioner having means for directing the outwardly radiating magnetic flux toward the fluid conducting conduits to thereby increase the magnetic flux acting on the liquid and/or gas flowing in the conduits.
Abstract: A gutter installation tool for positioning on a gutter and detachably holding a ferrule in position within the gutter while also detachably holding a nail external to the gutter, the nail being in longitudinal alignment with the ferrule, thus eliminating the need for the gutter installer to hold the ferrule and the nail when installing the gutter. After the nail enters the structure to which the gutter is being insatlled, the gutter installation tool is detached from the gutter, and the nail is driven to its final position.
Abstract: A magnetic unit for polarizing particles in fluid being conducted in a fluid conducting conduit, the objective being to prevent particulate matter from adhering to the inner wall of the fluid conducting conduit. The magnetic unit includes at least two magnets potted in a housing and surrounding a tube to be incorporated into the conduit thereby providing treatment of the fluid being conducted through the conduit.
Abstract: A magnetic fluid conditioner for abating the adherence of precipitates in conduits transmitting a variety of fluids and/or gases which contain unwanted compounds which will precipitate and adhere to the inner walls of the conduits. The magnetic fluid conditioner includes a metallic flux path for increasing the flux density.
Abstract: An apparatus and method of treating well water, in a water system, by polarizing and aerating a small portion of pumped water from the high pressure side of the water system and returning the treated water to the raw water in the well.
Abstract: A motor driven egg lathe, which may be in a self-storing container, and which maintains the functional relationship of the internal elements by embedding them in a cellular polymeric block.

Abstract: A release device for installing between the end of a fishing line and fish hook for freeing a snagged fish hook, the device including a normally closed elongated helical tension spring having a weight attached to the line end of the spring. The device is activated by pulling on the line to stress and elongate the spring which moves the attached weight. A sudden release of the taut line permits a rapid return of the spring to its closed position at which time the kinetic energy of the weight coming to an abrupt halt at the end of the closed spring is transferred into a shock wave passing through the spring and is transmitted to the snagged fish hook to drive the fish hook from its snagged position.
Abstract: A manipulative cube puzzle having a hollow box structure of parallelepipedon form and containing a predetermined number of cubes at least one less than the capacity of said box structure in at least one tier, the construction of said box structure being such that any cube therein may be slidably positioned for flipping to any one of 24 positions at the option and control of the player.
Abstract: A phonograph record holder having a frame comprising a base element and two substantially flat faced upright elements attached at the lower end to the base element and extending upwardly in parallel spaced apart relationship, each of the inner faces of the upright elements having at least one vertical groove in spaced relationship for receiving and holding a phonograph record jacket in a vertical position with the open end of the jacket on top, and further having means thereon for holding the open end of the jacket and liner in spread-apart position to thereby permit the easy grasping of the contained record and its removal from the jacket and liner.
Abstract: A mechanically adjustable articulator for mounting poured dental casts used in the fabrication of dentures without the use of mounting plaster, the articulator having central locating pins for entering drilled apertures in the base of the casts, and further having adjustable retaining screws which enter drilled apertures in the perimeter of the casts to retain the casts in fixed position after which the casts may be adjusted to any desired relationship with each other; and a method for drilling and mounting the casts, including a drill jig useful for such purpose.
