Abstract: A timber wall frame for use in building construction has an opening for a door or window defined at each side by a vertically extending prop stud and jamb stud in side by side relation, and the opening is defined from above by a horizontally extending top plate of the wall frame. The prop stud and jamb stud are of the same length and extend to the underside of the top plate. A lintel of sheet metal spans the upper side of the opening, the lintel having a vertical wall and a horizontal flange along the upper edge of the wall. The lintel is applied to the frame so that its vertical wall overlies a face of each stud and a face of the top plate, with the horizontal flange of the lintel being above the top plate.

Abstract: In the assembly of the invention, the assembly includes adapter means designed to connect the transmission member and the energy source and to ensure good transmission of energy between them. The adapter means comprise means for locking the energy source in rotation in the device and means for the angular indexing of the source in the position in which it is locked in rotation in the device. The invention is very suitable for gas fastening devices.

Abstract: The sealing connector ensures sealing between a gas cartridge having an outlet fitting and a transmission member for filling a combustion chamber of a gas fastening device having an inlet fitting with gas and includes two internal sealing sleeves for receiving the two fittings, at least one of which is made of flexible material, with, at the bottom of this sleeve, a flexible transverse annular partition for dimensional adjustment, and an external slide. A rigid transverse annular partition is provided at the bottom of the other of the two sleeves to serve as a support for a fitting.

Abstract: In a dish carrier for dishwashers, in addition to lower supporting surfaces (8) and upper supporting surfaces (10), at least one upper extra supporting surface (34) which is offset forwards and/or upwards relative to the upper supporting surfaces is provided in compartments (22) for accommodating items (12, 14) to be washed in order to hold relatively flat items to be washed, for example trays (14), approximately parallel to deeper items which are to be washed, for example soup plates (12).
