Abstract: A surgical drain is the subject of the present invention. A dual tubular construction is provided with openings along each tube on the side which is facing the other tube. Barrier means is provided and extends lengthwise of the two tubular members. The barrier means inhibits the entry of loose material which would clog the openings and restrict the flow of fluid. It further inhibits occlusion of the openings by attached impinging tissue or structures.
