Abstract: A canopy with an improved leading edge structure is provided. The canopy will include a top and bottom surface connected at their respective trailing edges. A plurality of rib members will extend from the trailing edge to the leading edge of the canopy. A portion of the top surface leading edge will overlap with a top portion of the rib leading edge.

Abstract: A recycling bin cart having a pair of wheels and rigid vertical support coupled to at least two horizontally supported shelves sized and spaced apart to receive recycling bins with the lower shelf being located close to the ground. The cart is used to transport recycling bins containing different segregated trash such as newspapers is used to reduce the lifting of the recycling bins for people who are physically impaired. The device may be folded when not in use in a collapsed position and also may be covered aesthetically for use in the home or apartment by a decorative covering while still being used for collecting individual segregated trash items.

Abstract: A top jaw system for securing a top jaw in position above a chuck on a milling machine, lathe or the like is provided. The system generally includes a base jaw, top jaw, master jaw, and a conventional jaw nut. The base jaw includes a bottom portion and a portion and a wedge portion. The top jaw is removably attached to the wedge portion by a pin while the bottom portion is removably attached to the jaw nut by removable mounting bolts. The jaw nut is disposed within a channel of the master jaw. The top jaw can be quickly replaced by the removable of the pin.

Abstract: A reversible protective device for the bottom of a golf cup formed from a single sheet of flexible material into a conical shape for directional insertion into a conventional golf cup. The device incorporates a method of manufacture that is low in cost and allows placement of coloration or advertisement on the sheet before formation into the conical shape. The device prevents damage to the surface of the golf cup by absorbing the impact of flag pole replacement.

Abstract: A self-contained cooker and grill having quadrilateral doors with a separate cooking grate attached to each door. Closure of all doors provide a conventional barbecue type cooker or smoker with a full sized grate and a common area for support of solid fuels. The multiple door cooker allows the operator to vary cooking times and heating of four different cooking surfaces. Each door can be opened independently allowing the operator to access the immediate cooking surface without disrupting the remaining cooking surfaces. An upper grate is provided in a fixed, movable, or rotational arangement for adaptation to various cooking requirement.

Abstract: A pipeline test bulkhead that can be neutrally buoyant under water for ease of transport under water is disclosed. The bulkhead is manually transportable under water without a crane regardless of the dry weight of the bulkhead out of the water and necessary for ease of transport under water in order to test each section of a pipe as it is attached during the construction of a pipeline under water.

Abstract: An improved trash organizer for expeditious separation of paper, aluminum, glass, plastic or other separable trash items that provides for a small, compact primary trash container with separate compartments that includes reusable net bags and a drainage system for removal of excess residual liquids, and having a removable collecting pan for excess liquid. A secondary separable trash container may be included for outdoor use.

Abstract: A bridge device spanning the distance between a set-up station and a machining center for transporting pallets between the two locations. The bridge is pivotedly coupled to the set-up station allowing the bridge to rotate between a horizontal operating position and vertical storage position. Placement of the bridge in a horizontal position allows pallets to slide across the bridge over rollers incorporated into guide tracks which form a part of the bridge. When the bridge is not in use the bridge is stored in a vertical position by lifting one end of the bridge. A hydraulic dampener allows ease of bridge movement between the operating and stored position. A collapsible support stand supports the bridge in the operating position and folds flush with the main frame of the bridge when placed into the storage position.

Abstract: A machine for destroying, disinfecting and collecting in safe, removable, disposable containers hypodermic needles and syringes containing medical contaminants. The device includes a compact housing which is easily portable, a shear housing containing removable and serviceable shear blades and a shear member. A safety container which includes a clear visual top is used and collects the destroyed needles and syringes in a container that can be subsequently readily disposed of. A low RPM high torque motor is used to greatly reduce the noise of operation of the device. A front observation window in the housing permits the viewer to determine how full the safety container is visually through the clear top of the safety container.

Abstract: The instant invention is a single unit providing both breakfast cereal, milk, and bowl including, in addition, means for mixing the milk with the cereal. The breakfast cereal is stored in a cereal cavity which later serves as the bowl. The milk is stored in a milk carton which is stored in a milk carton cavity. A spoon is preferentially also provided with the system so that everything the user needs to consume the breakfast cereal is provided. A trough is provided between the milk carton cavity and cereal cavity inclined downwardly from a position adjacent to and below the milk carton cavity toward the cereal cavity allowing milk leaving the milk carton to flow toward and enter the cereal cavity where it may mix with the cereal located therein. The aseptic packaging of the milk carton is provided with a frangible aperture located near the lowermost edge thereof and positioned adjacent to and above the trough leading into the cereal cavity when the milk carton is properly placed within the milk carton cavity.

Abstract: A vertical blind vane tilt control lock for manually locking in a rigid position the vane tilt chain actuating mechanism for vertical blinds to prevent undesired movement of the vertical blind vanes by wind or air passing through the vanes. The control chain locking device is rigidly fastened to a wall surface near the chain actuator so that it can be manually engaged or disengaged as desired. The chain control lock includes one or two locking slots so that both sides of the vane tilt actuating chain are held taut from the vertical blind actuating pulley to prevent movement of the vanes.

Abstract: A top jaw system for securing a top jaw in position above a chuck on a milling machine, lathe or the like is provided. A protrusion extends upward from the chuck and is preferably attached to the chuck by rigid attachment to a jaw nut which is positioned in a common master jaw on the chuck. The protrusion has a pair of flat faces which extends upward and over the jaw nut to form acute angles with the jaw nut. A top jaw having a slot sized to receive the protrusion is placed over the protrusion. The top jaw has a pin aperture extending through the top jaw through the slot at a right angle to the protrusion when the top jaw is placed on the protrusion. When the top jaw is placed on the protrusion, an elongated pin having a pair of flat surfaces extending along its elongated axis is placed in the pin aperture. One of the flat faces of the protrusion is pushed into contact with one of the flat surfaces of the pin.

Abstract: An improved quick release weight collar for securing removable weights on a weight bar. The collar has two connected cylindrical members integrally joined by one or more steel balls that can be locked in a first position against the bar radially and rotatably unlocked relative radially to the bar in a second position.

Abstract: A device for hanging picture frames, plates, and the like in the corner between walls having means to adjust the axial length of the device and consequently its distance from the corner before being secured to the respective walls. In addition, once the device is secured against the walls of the corner, means are provided to adjustably position the point where plates and the like are hung from the device along a line extending from the corner and through the device at a right angle to the device. Means are also provided to facilitate fastening the device to the walls.

Abstract: An umbrella having one or more magnetic fasteners attached thereto strategically located to provide support of an open umbrella to a metallic surface on a vehicle so that the umbrella can be self-supported adjacent the opening of a vehicle such as the door opening or trunk and would withstand and be supported on the surface in rains or wind. The device permits the user to have both hands free for removing or placing small children or articles in a vehicle.

Abstract: An oil spill containment boom deployable normally by one person between a pier and vessel especially useful for oil transfer operations from ship to shore that will remain in position on the water regardless of changes in the ship draft comprising a floating flexible barrier having an elongated unitary tensioning member disposed from end to end and held in place by strategically positioned sleeves connected over areas of the float to hold the barrier in place.
