  • Patent number: 5056827
Abstract: A label for a pharmaceutical bottle is disclosed. Illustratively, the label comprises four sections. There is a first end-section having adhesive on its rear surface for adhering to the bottle. A second end-section spaced apart from the first end-section also has an adhesive rear surface for adhering to the bottle. A third relatively wide section is attached to the second end-section by means of a first perforation. A fourth relatively narrow section is attached between the first end-section and the third section by means of second and third perforations respectively. The fourth section includes a tab so that it can be easily removed by tearing along the second and third perforations. This permits the third section to be removed easily by tearing only along the first perforation.

  • Patent number: 4836160
Abstract: An internal combustion engine is provided with a sound-insulating enclosure (2), which defines a sealed passage extending through the enclosure. A passage which extends through the enclosure is sealed by a sealing ring (9), which consists of a rubber-elastic material and is disposed between an inner flanged ring (7), which is secured to the engine, and an outer flanged ring (8), which is secured to the enclosure (2). In order to provide sealing means which are satisfactory for a passage for the exhaust manifold (3), the inner flanged ring (7) carries a protective shield (10), which shields the inside surface of the sealing ring (9) and which defines with the sealing ring (9) a clearance (12), which contains a heat-resisting and sound-absorbing insulating material (11).

  • Patent number: 4595224
Abstract: Carrying device for a container with four supporting journals which, by means of a hydraulic actuating device 18, 21, can be locked or unlocked and respectively or with a hydraulic device 8, 9, 10, 11 for the change of the span width. A pumping device 23, 24, 25, 26 which can be actuated by means of a cable line is provided on the carrying device so that, also in the case in which the carrying device is attached to a crane without a pressure medium source, the hydraulic actuating device 18, 21 can be operated for locking and unlocking purposes, and respectively or the hydraulic device 8, 9, 10, 11 can be operated for the purpose of changing the span width.

  • Patent number: 4552079
Abstract: A machine for planting seeds includes a rotary soil lifting device which lifts broken-up soil, a tamping roller which tamps the remaining broken-up soil, an arrangement for placing seeds onto the upper surface of the tamped layer of the ground, and an arrangement for conveying the soil lifted by the soil lifting device past and upwardly of the tamping roller and for depositing this soil onto the tamped surface and onto the seeds placed thereon as a layer of uniform thickness. A compacting roller may be used to compact the soil of this layer after the formation of the latter, and the machine includes breaking-up tools of the fixed or rotating type mounted at the front region of the machine for breaking up the soil prior to and to a depth sufficient for the performance of the lifting operation by the soil lifting device. The conveying arrangement may include two hoods which together define a passage through which the lifted soil advances upwardly of and beyond the tamping roller.
