Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing orthodontic O-rings comprises a main body portion having at least one storage and delivery chamber for holding a plurality of O-rings lying in a single plane and an outlet for allowing dispensing of O-rings. The main body is designed such that the O-rings are restrained from freely falling from the outlet. A further embodiment of the dispenser includes an ejection mechanism for assisting in the discharge of the O-rings.
Abstract: A container for handling and transporting glass slides. The container comprise a base support having at least one slide retention well for receiving a single glass slide and a cover for engagement with the base support. A projection is provided on the cover for alternating access to different portions of the slide as desired.

Abstract: A fire sprinkler control apparatus which is adapted for connection between a network of connecting fluid flow lines which terminate in sprinkler heads and a water supply. The apparatus consists of a conduit having a first end and a second end. The first end is secured to a water supply and the second end is secured to a network of connecting lines. A solenoid valve is positioned at the first end of the conduit such that the flow of water from the water supply through the conduit to the connecting lines is controlled. An expansion tank is connected to the conduit. A sniffer valve is provided for coupling the conduit to an air source, such that the conduit, the expansion tank and all connecting lines may be pressurized with gas. A pressure switch is connected to the solenoid valve and with the conduit. The solenoid valve is opened to release water from the water supply into the conduit should the pressure in the conduit drop below a preset level.
Abstract: A fluid device tank cleaning apparatus having a stationary housing, an outer Tee-housing which rotates about a first axis and nozzle assembly rotatably mounted to the Tee-housing for rotation about a second axis. The stationary housing is provided with passageways for communication with the Tee-housing. The passageways are configured so as to provide a substantially constant cross sectional area to the outer of the Tee-housing.
Abstract: An orthodontic dispensing device for dispensing orthodontic appliances formed in an elastomeric strip of material. The device comprises a housing having a discharge opening and a guide bar adjacent thereto. A drive reel is provided for moving the strip around the guide bar is provided so as to present the orthodontic appliance for dispensing thereof.

Abstract: A rotary coupling device has a hub driving a hub flange formed with windows containing helical compression springs. Those springs are also contained in windows in disc-like side plates rivetted together to form a carrier for friction material. The springs are also contained in windows respectively in floating disc-like plates. The windows are so dimensioned that an initial relative rotation between the friction material carrier and the hub and hub flange, causes one of the springs to be compressed and urge the floating plates to rotate relatively to the carrier or to the hub and hub flange so that the relative movement between the floating plates and the carrier or the hub and hub flange compreses the other of the springs. Thus during this initial movement the springs are compressed in series.
Abstract: A control device for use with an electrical appliance. The device comprises a handpiece having at least one exhaust port which is connected to positive fluid pressure source. Blocking of the exhaust port will operate an appropriate switch means for controlling the electrical appliance.
Abstract: A plastic hydrometer of the constant mass variable displacement type. The hydrometer includes a separate bulbous section, stem and cap. The bulbous section is a single piece molded part having an upper end which mates with the lower end of the extruded tube.
Abstract: A discretionary mosaic art kit which comprises a support board arranged so as to selectively accommodate individual pieces of design creating elements at a selected location on said board, and a plurality of design creating elements in the form of an equilateral triangle, each adapted to be fixed to said board at a selected location.
Abstract: A gas testing apparatus comprising a body (13, 14) defining a chamber (7), means (2, 3) for creating a magnetic field within the chamber in a first direction, a test body (20), means (19) for mounting the test body (20) for rotation about an axis parallel to the direction of the magnetic field, and gas inlet (9) and outlet (10) means for allowing gas flow through the chamber (7), characterised in that the gas inlet means (9) are arranged and disposed to supply gas to the chamber from two positions at opposite sides of the chamber whereby gas flow from each of the two positions will be parallel to the direction of the magnetic field but in opposition in order to minimize errors resulting from gas flow upon the test body. The chamber is of small volume i.e. less than 0.6 ml which enables the apparatus to be used for preliminary monitoring.
