  • Patent number: 8276773
Abstract: A pull tab crown for a bottle or other container provides a pull tab ring and a pull tab secured to the top of the crown by a rivet to form a pull tab assembly. A seat in the top of the crown formed by an indentation allows the pull tab assembly to rest flush with the top of the crown. One or more score lines extend from the pull tab assembly to rim of the crown. One of the score lines has a segment that extends for a distance equidistant from the top of the crown and the edge of the crown. The score lines have a curved cross-sectional profile.

  • Patent number: 7806754
Abstract: An apparatus for flattening one or more cuts of poultry to prepare at least one of the cuts to be cooked may have at least one roller turner, one or more roller supports, a first roller mounted on at least one of the roller supports and adapted to be turned by the roller turner and a second roller mounted on at least one of the other roller supports. The second roller may be disposed substantially parallel to the first roller such that the distance between the first roller and the second roller is less than the size of an unflattened cut of poultry, such that the poultry is flattened when fed between the rollers with the roller turner. Various configurations of the rollers, methods of using the apparatus, and automated embodiments provide advantages for food preparation.

  • Patent number: 7464332
Abstract: The present invention is directed to devices, systems and methods for selecting the appearance of a display on a viewer that displays the output of a digital content server. Include tags, in html display, output custom or default information determined by the presence or absence of a unique identifier. In the event of perl-generated html, find and replace routines locate specific include tags and replace the include tags with custom or default information determined by the same unique identifier that dictates the selected viewer appearance. Accordingly, a vendor's web page may display content from a host's website while preserving the look and feel of the affiliate's web pages.

  • Patent number: 7237618
Abstract: A high-pressure stripper rubber provides inserts and support members that cooperatively support the profile of the rubber against elastic deformation. The inserts dynamically cooperate to resist elastic deformation of the rubber due to down hole pressure. The stripper rubber has a generally cylindrical upper moiety and a dynamic, generally frusto-conical, lower moiety that cooperatively define a bore for receiving oilfield equipment. A generally ring-shaped adapter insert, at least partially within the stripper rubber, is disposed toward the upper moiety for attaching the stripper rubber to drilling head equipment. A structural retention insert assembly provides (1) one or more support members proximately and movably attached to the adapter insert, and (2) one or more structural retention inserts at least partially within the stripper rubber and distally attached to the one or more support members.

  • Patent number: 7174956
Abstract: A connector is provided for selectively connecting or disconnecting a stripper rubber to or from drilling head equipment such as a bearing assembly. A generally cylindrical adapter connected to the equipment defines a primary bore to accommodate a down hole tubular. One or more cam pin bores, adapted to house one ore more cam pins, are positioned radially around the adapter substantially parallel to the primary bore. One or more cam lock bores adapted to house one or more at least partially rotatable cam locks, are offset from the pin cam bores such that each cam pin bore partially intersects a corresponding cam lock bore to form an aperture through which the cam lock engages the cam pin. One or more cam pins are connected to the stripper rubber; and one or more at least partially rotatable cam locks housed in the cam lock bores of the adapter optionally engage or disengage the pin cams to respectively connect or disconnect the stripper rubber to or from the equipment.

  • Patent number: 6395663
Abstract: A dielectric ceramic material is provided. The ceramic material includes a mixture represented by the formula of Bi2−x(Zn2/3Nb4/3)O7−3x/2(BZN), 0≦x≦0.67, and a flux having an eutectic composition for lowering the sintering temperature of the mixture from 950˜1100° C. to 800˜850° C. The dielectric material has a dielectric constant larger than 45 (∈r>45) and a quality factor larger than 1200 (or Q·f>4500) at 3.5 GHz.

  • Patent number: 6382423
Abstract: A method for processing a mass of solid fine particles including Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (“NORM”) is disclosed. In one embodiment, the material is sampled and classified into fractions based upon one or more selected criteria such as particle size or particle density. The level of radioactivity associated with each fraction is determined, leading to separation of the mass of fines into selected fractions based upon one or more selected criteria and the activity levels of the fractions. Selected fractions are chosen for chemical treatment, thereby reducing the volume of material to be treated. By reducing the volume of solid material to be treated, the amount of chemicals used for treatment is reduced, along with the size and capacity of the processing equipment required to treat the material.
