Abstract: An interactive sculptural composition comprising a support member and at least one design member matingly attached thereto. The support member defines a plurality of parallel channels and possesses a multiplicity of projections arranged into rows parallel to the channels with at least one row of projections being present between each adjacent channel. The design member is matingly attached to the support member by either: (1) inserting at least one of the projections of the support member through a hole in the design member or (2) inserting a first edge of the design member into a first channel of the support member and inserting a second edge of the design member into a second, adjacent channel of the support member.
Abstract: An improved flexible drive coupling is provided in which a driver and driven mechanisms are in adjacent housings that are fixedly connected by a shroud through which the drive coupling extends. The driver and driven gear hubs, respectively, are interconnected through a flexible spacer member having corresponding meshing gear elements wherein the spacer and at least one of said gear hubs have longitudinally extending, aligning lines which are slideably engageable when the gear elements of said spacer and hub are in spaced-apart relation to maintain the gear elements in meshing alignment where said respective housings and shroud are moved longitudinally toward each other during assembly. Thus external access is provided for positioning said gear elements in meshing alignment before said housings and shroud are brought into final mating position.
Abstract: A flexible drive coupling for power transmission shafts having coupling elements of plastic material containing improved metal elements therein to form strengthened locking means for securing the coupling elements on the coupled transmission shafts.
