Abstract: A side arm for an eyeglass frame includes front frame having outer edges, each of the edges terminating in a vertical line parallel to a plane defined by the eyeglasses held within the front frame. The vertical line functions as a fulcrum for the release function. The system further includes a pair of axle journals, and a pair of male bayonet clips, each rotationally dependent at one end from axles within respective the journals of the eyeglass frame. Each of the temple pieces exhibit a forward end terminating in a vertical camming surface which contacts the fulcrum upon rotation of temple members. A pair of female bayonet clips are proportioned for complemental engagement of opposing male bayonet clips, the female clips formed integrally upon inner sides of each temple piece proximally to each of the male bayonet clips when the male clips are press-fitted into the female clips.
Abstract: A double or triple zip-tied anastomosis surgery method is provided. The method includes circumferentially fastening a first and a second zip-tie around a tubular organ or a connecting region between two tubular organs, with the first and second zip-ties beside each other; dissecting the tubular organ or the connecting region at a space between the first and second zip-ties, forming a first tubular portion with a first zip-tied end and a second tubular portion with a second zip-tied end; resecting a target segment from the second tubular portion, and centrally fastened the resected end; then rejoining the first and the second tubular portions together using a circular stapler, with staples encircling the first zip-tied end and the centrally fastened resected end; and cutting and removing tissues and zip-tie encircled by the staples to recreate a tubular pathway, with a smooth interface between the two tubular portions.
Abstract: The performance of a golf club is enhanced through the provision of a void space behind a face plate and above a sole portion, to decrease club weight and provide single, or combinations, of selectable weighting elements within volumetric coordinates of an orthonormal matrix about the void space and entire club. The weighted coordinates are provided in response to ball strike, flight analysis and physiologic observation of the golf strike swing. Ball backspin, trajectory, penetration hook or slice, and ballooning may be modified through the use of definable combinations of weighting strategies and sub-strategies.
Abstract: A multifunctional airway evaluator for orotracheal intubation includes first and second connected elongated arms, movable relative to each other about a pivot axis, a planar plate connected to the first arm and extending upwardly therefrom, and a gravity-operated angular indicator attached to the planar plate. The plate includes a distance scale on its front face, and the distance scale includes a plurality of spaced apart grade lines aligned radially with the pivotal axis and distance parameters associated with the grade lines, each of the distance parameters indicating a distance between the distal ends of the first and second arms when the arms are in a relative position. The gravity-operated angular indicator includes an axial pin disposed perpendicular to the planar plate, a rotating disk pivotally attached to and rotatable around the axial pin by gravity, and one or more angular measurement marker provided adjacent the rotating disk.

Abstract: An integrated mirror and graphics display system includes a sheet of substantially transparent material, the sheet having a front and a back, the back having a silvered or reflective region and at least one primary non-silvered region. Also included is a sheet of translucent material, having printed on or embedded in it a graphic of interest to a system user, the translucent sheet secured or painted upon the back of the transparent sheet against the non-silvered region. The system further includes an illumination element defining an area smaller, equal to or greater than that of the non-silvered region and secured in optical communication with the translucent sheet. A secondary non-silvered region may be used to provide owner-specific personalized information.
Abstract: Cycle brake cooling articles are secured at and offset from braking elements of a wheel of a cycle, each article having a Venturi-like rigid surface, including a central portion that defines a void space, which in combination with said braking element, defines an air deflection and concentration path focused upon the brake element of the cycle wheel to effect a cooling of the element and escape of heat thru the void space. A distal portion of each rigid surface is securable to a front fork of the cycle. The Venturi-like surface may include a proximal intake section and a distal focusing section.

Abstract: A dermatological composition and a kit containing the composition for treating dermatological conditions including transient acantholytic dermatitis, acne miliaris necrotica, acne varioliformis, perioral dermatitis, acneiform eruptions, acne vulgaris, and seborrheic dermatitis are disclosed. The dermatological composition includes an avermectin compound in an effective amount to treat these dermatological conditions and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The kit includes the dermatological composition integrated in medicated tape, topical dressing, dermal patch, or cleansing tissue.
Abstract: An automobile tire having fluid-tight internal partitions to form discrete internal compartments includes bead-like sub-structures provided within internal partitions having contact with a road during use of the tire, the bead sub-structures including a pressure-sensitive sealant in which a rapid change in air pressure in the tire induces activation of the sealant; and a tire wheel having a lateral surface complemental to an inner radial geometry of the tire, including, at an interface between the wheel and the tire, a pump for selectable inflation of at least one of the compartments. The system may also include inflatable wheel sealing ridges formed integrally within the tire, the ridges including circumferential annular fluid tight channels inflatable independently of inflation of the internal wheel partitions.
Abstract: A community intermodal transit system includes a city or town center and low speed mixed-mode corridors extending substantially radially outwardly from said city center. Further included are a corresponding number of circumferentially disposed parking structures located proximally to outer ends of the mixed-mode corridors and an outer transportation network including various modes of transportation, each mode including a transfer point to at least one of said parking structures. Service roads are provided to the city center, as are direct public links from the parking structures to airports or a seaport. Low speed, low profile vehicles may operate on small gauge tracks upon said mixed-mode corridors.

Abstract: A method of generating a non-linear spatial and chromatic password includes the steps of establishing a spatial password entry pattern (SPEP) within boundary conditions of a matrix of a password entry screen (PES), the SPEP including coordinates of the matrix of the PPS. The method also includes selecting a first color from a color selection keypad (CSK) having many selectable colors. The first color is then mapped to a first coordinate of the SPEP of the matrix. Then, a second color from said CSK is mapped to a second coordinate of said SPEP. The above steps of selection and mapping are then repeated for N coordinates, each corresponding to a selected color of the CSK, until all coordinates falling within the boundary conditions defining said non-linear SPEP are fully mapped. A high security, high anti-decryption, spatial and chromic password results.
