  • Patent number: 6659772
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing provisional veneers for human teeth. An impression matrix of the teeth-receiving provisional veneers is created and the teeth prepared by removal of the enamel to an appropriate depth. The impression matrix is then trimmed to expose the cervical portion of the prepared teeth. The shells of the impression matrix corresponding to each of the prepared teeth are filled with a flowable composite resin and the filled impression matrix is seated over the prepared teeth. The excess flowable composite resin is removed from the cervical portion of the prepared teeth and the remaining flowable composite resin is cured to form the incisal portion of the provisional veneers. The cervical portion of the provisional veneers is then free-form sculpted by applying a sculptable composite resin to the prepared teeth, then curing the sculptable composite resin. The provisional veneers are then fine-finished and polished.

  • Patent number: 6658975
Abstract: The invention falls within the field of labeling machine with the continuous introduction of a reeled label film. In particular, it relates to the cutting roller of the label film and it comprises a cooling line for the two support systems of the shaft of the cutting roller. The cooling line is preferably independent for each of the two systems and it comprises a probe for measuring the temperature of the related support which sends its measured value to a block for its comparison with a pre-set preferential temperature value. The block, according to the compared value, activates a solenoid valve inserted on the compressed air supply circuit.

  • Patent number: 6655373
Abstract: A conveyor oven is heated by inshot burners, which eliminate blowers, ducts, and motors heretofore required to supply a force draft of combustion air to the burners. Apertures in front of the inshot burners have a diameter that regulates the amount of combustion air that is delivered to the burners. The only blower in the oven is the one required to circulate and recirculate hot air within the oven which produces three pressure zones that causes an induced draft of combustion air for the inshot burner. A modulating valve adjusts the flow of gas to the inshot burners.

  • Patent number: 6641458
Abstract: Apparatus and method for separating and replacing a cap from a shank of a tip of a welding electrode. The cap and the shank form a peripheral hollow joint that is defined by a recessed end surface of the shank and a back surface of the cap. The apparatus includes a guide frame having a recessed portion sized for receiving the tip of the welding electrode. The apparatus also includes a cap withdrawing tool movably mounted on the guide frame. The tool has two facing wall sections each having a wedge that is inserted in the peripheral hollow joint. The wedge is forced against the back surface of the cap and removes the cap from the shank by means of a driving mechanism that moves the cap withdrawing tool toward the tip of the welding electrode that is engaged in the recessed portion of the guide frame.

  • Patent number: 6636433
Abstract: An electronic device of the present invention includes a memory core formed on an insulative substrate and implemented by a substance that performs, when a current flows therethrough, electromigration and varies in at least part of its shape or at least part of its element composition ratio. Two electrodes are directly bonded to opposite ends of the memory core. A sense electrode is spaced from the memory core by a thin insulative film in the vicinity of one of the two electrodes. A current flowing through the memory core causes a diffusion element to concentrate around either one of the two electrodes, whereby data is written in the memory core. Charge migration from the sense electrode caused by the migration of the diffusion element is sensed to thereby read the data out of the memory core.
