Abstract: A hand holdable spray delivery system for dispensing a relatively viscous and/or solids laden liquid is provided. This spray delivery system includes a container adapted to house the liquid. A manually actuated pump device is mounted on the container. The pump device including an inlet passage, a pump chamber, and a discharge passage having a distal end connected in liquid communication so that the liquid is pumped from within the container, through the inlet passage, into the pump chamber and through the discharge passage upon manual actuation of the pump device. A slotted spray nozzle including a housing having an inlet side and an exit side is also included. The housing having an internal recess through the inlet side that terminates in an elongated orifice at the exit side.

Abstract: Disclosed is a substantially permanent, fixed-circumference, non-abrasive binding device for gathering and binding plural articles, including a locking head, a tail, and an elongate strap therebetween. The head and tail ends include cooperative locking means for securing the tail end in the locking head. The tail end includes outwardly projecting tail barbs to facilitate pulling the tail end through the locking head, and subsequently to facilitate engagement of locking barbs located on the end of the strap with barb stops located in the head. A score line is preformed across the tail end at a point between the locking barbs and the tail end, to provide for a break-any tail which can be removed after engagement of the locking barbs with the barb stops in the head. Upon engagement of the locking barbs with the barb stops, the score line is at a position slightly inside of the locking head so that no sharp or abrasive edge will be exposed after the tail end is broken off.

Abstract: A two-cell windowed carton is provided for displaying a pair of disparate articles in side by side relation which is formed from a one piece blank of cartonboard. The display carton has opposing front and back walls, opposing top and bottom walls, and opposing first and second side walls. These walls are connected forming a box. Only the opposing top and bottom walls have a double thickness of cartonboard. The front wall has a compartment dividing wall foldably connected thereto. The compartment dividing wall extends inwardly from the front wall to a compartment wall support. The compartment dividing wall separates a first article cell from a second article cell. The first article cell has an opening in the front wall and also has a back intermediate wall. The back intermediate wall is spaced inwardly from and parallel to the back wall by a compartment wall support. The back intermediate wall extends between the first side wall and the compartment dividing wall.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing a flexible package for dispensing a product through a fitment. The package has a planar enclosed body extending between a bottom end and a top end. The package further includes a planar gusset panel sealed to the body at the top end. The gusset panel is sealed to the body such that the package can be folded so that the gusset panel will lie flat against and in the same plane as the body of the package. The gusset panel further includes an aperture disposed therein. A dispensing fitment extends through the aperture on the gusset panel for dispensing.
