  • Patent number: 5374352
Abstract: A universal recycled wash water plant having a collector tank through which collected wash water and rinse water is channeled to a grease/oil/water separation tank which separates oil and grease from the water and which holds the oil-separated water in a pump compartment. The water in the pump compartment is pumped to two sand filter tanks which removes suspended trace oil and other suspended solids from the water received from the pump compartment. The water upon passing through the sand filter tanks is channeled to a balancing tank and pumped by means of a recirculating pump to a separator which removes solid particles up to six microns in size from the water received from the balancing tank. From the separator the water is channeled in desired proportions to a carbon filter and to a wash water tank. The carbon filter removes any remaining soap elements from the water before the clarified water is channeled into a rinse water tank.

  • Patent number: 5339472
Abstract: An infant head support pillow neck made of a filler-cushion material which is covered by a top half and bottom half which are sewn together. The top and bottom halves are identically shaped so as to give the infant pillow head support a substantially rectangular appearance. The shape of the infant head support pillow is defined by first and second latitudinal sides and first and second longitudinal sides, the longitudinal sides being longer in length than the latitudinal sides. The second longitudinal side has a first keyhole wing and a second keyhole wing which curve inward in the direction of the first longitudinal side to form an opening between them. The second longitudinal side extends from the first and second keyhole wings to form a keyhole region at the center of the pillow. The keyhole region has a diameter which is approximately one-fourth the distance between the first and second latitudinal sides.

  • Patent number: 5334121
Abstract: An interchangeable/adjustable hurdle component assembly made of a collection of interchangeable parts. The assembly has a plurality of leg support pairs of varying lengths which can be utilized as vertical leg supports or horizontal leg supports. One leg support pair is utilized as a first and second vertical leg support, and one leg support pair is utilized as a first and second horizontal leg support. The first vertical leg support is connected to a first tee and to a first elbow, and the second vertical leg support is connected to a second tee and second elbow. The vertical leg supports determine the height of the hurdle. The first horizontal leg support is connected to the first tee and the second horizontal leg support is connected to the second tee to provide support to the hurdle assembly. A crossbar connects to the first and second elbows. The component parts are tubular for realizing snap-fit connections. Both tees of the assembly are identical and interchangeable as are both elbows.

  • Patent number: 5291997
Abstract: An assembly for housing medical supplies and for storing and mailing medical waste contained therein having an exterior box made of corrugated paper into which a plastic removable medical waste container can be inserted into and secured in a container bay provided by styrofoam insulation which contacts the interior sidewalls of the exterior box. The styrofoam insulation is provided with a plurality of apertures to accommodate syringes. Upon using the syringes, a user can place the syringe through an aperture in the medical waste container. Upon using all of the syringes originally provided with the assembly and placing them inside the medical waste container, the aperture provided in the medical waste container is latched closed and the medical waste container is placed inside the exterior box in the bay provided by the styrofoam insulation.

  • Patent number: 5279389
Abstract: An attachable ladder support for use on flat-roofed buildings in conjunction with a ladder and winch. The ladder support has a contact member for contacting the flat roof of a building. Connected to the contact member are two connecting members which are attached to the contact member in such a manner that a hoisting space is created between the two connecting members. Each connecting member is provided with an insertable end for insertion into a tubular ladder rung. When used in conjunction with a ladder and a winch, the ladder support makes it possible to hoist heavy loads up to a flat roof of a building.

  • Patent number: 5261164
Abstract: A swivel axe having a swivel shaft which is attached to a striking means at one end of the swivel shaft. A holed-flange is provided at a connecting end of the swivel shaft. The swivel shaft and a main shaft are connected by means of a ball-lock-pin which is inserted through the hole in the holed-flange and a hole in the connecting end of the main shaft. A push button latch release allows the swivel shaft to rotate upon the ball-lock-pin. Means are provided to lock the swivel shaft in vertical relation to the main shaft so that the striking member attached to the swivel shaft will not reverse momentum upon impact with an object.

  • Patent number: 5257850
Abstract: An indented bedliner for a pickup truck having a first indented sidewall region which is connected to one sidewall of the pickup truck and a second indented sidewall region which is connected to the other sidewall of the pickup. Both indented sidewall regions have indented paths which are parallel to each other and which provide a path for a guide rod, the path extending over the substantial length of the truck bed. Each end of the guide rod is positioned in the indented path provided in each sidewall region. A cover is connected to the guide rod between the opposite ends of the guide rod. By moving the guide rod over the guide path provided by the indented paths on each sidewall portion of the bedliner, the truck bed can be covered or uncovered as desired.
