Abstract: A collapsible bowl made of pliable materials that can be flattened or configured into an easily disposable or reusable bowl. A flexible collar is also provided which used with a sealable plastic baggy produces a collapsible bowl.
Abstract: This futuristic Christmas ornament has at least one externally illuminated light transmissive tube extending out of a hollow body which holds the light source internally. The power source can be a battery that is also within the hollow body or a low voltage electric feed with a plug connector.
Abstract: An improved leveling device having a unique elongated adjusting leg and locking hub which permits the secure leveling of an appliance without the use of extraneous tools.
Abstract: A swivel chair joint utilizing a tapered roller bearing assembly to substantially transform the seating load to the tapered roller bearings and thereby reducing frictional resistance to swiveling.
Abstract: A mosquito dispersing device having means for generating a mosquito dispersing pitch pattern having a frequency in the range of at least one of a wing beat frequency of a dragonfly and a wing beat frequency of a damselfly, means for generating a signal having a frequency of the mosquito dispersing pitch pattern for use with an amplifier, and means for amplifying the signal to power at least one speaker to produce vibrations of the mosquito dispersing pitch pattern in a dispersing area to rid the area of mosquitos.
Abstract: Air propulsion system for a boat comprises an internal combustion engine for powering a propeller in a single rotational direction. A pivoting mechanism pivots the propulsion system through a 360 degree arc about a transverse horizontal axis from a first position in which the propeller produce a forward thrust, through a second position in which the propeller produces a downward neutral thrust and a turning torque, to a third position in which the propeller produce a reverse thrust, to a fourth position in which the propeller produces an upward neutral thrust and a turning torque. The turning torque produced by the propeller turns the boat to the left in the second position and to the right in the fourth position. The engine is adapted to pivot with the propeller and continues to operate under throttle control in all pivoted orientations.
Abstract: An aquatic body board with enhanced maneuverability, speed and comfort having a tapered upturned nose for maneuvering over rough seas and avoiding deadheading which does not impede paddling, a concave valley extending along the length of the top surface of the board to comfortably and securingly accommodate the body of the user, at least one concave channel on the bottom surface to reduce friction with the water and at least one fin to aid stability and maneuverability.
Abstract: A guidance device for a domestic animal that can be attached to a dog's neck without twisting comprising means for reversibly connecting which is independent of internal rotation about its longitudinal axis.
Abstract: A suspension system for the care and prevention of wounds on the body of a user includes an array of removable suspension devices forming a flexible sheet. Each suspension device is removably coupled to at least on other suspension device. The suspension devices are selectably removable from the array in order to define a space within the sheet which approximates the size of a target area on the body of the user. A disposable garment for the body of a user includes an absorbent portion and a wound are and prevention suspension portion. The absorbent portion has fluid pervious inner sheet, a fluid impervious outer sheet and at least one layer of absorbent material disposed between the inner and outer sheets. The wound are and prevention suspension portion is coupled to the absorbent portion.

Abstract: A student work station, comprising an elevated desk with a horizontal work surface, a storage surface disposed at a spaced distance beneath the work surface, and a transparent peripheral wall, that maximizes reachable work and storage surfaces available to the student. The work station is designed for easy access and particularly advantageous for disabled students confined to a wheelchair. The transparent peripheral wall allows anything stored on the storage surface to be visible to a teacher or other students.
Abstract: A vehicle alert system (100) alerts a driver of a vehicle about objects within a predetermined distance from the vehicle. The vehicle alert system (100) has at least two sensors (102) that detect objects within a predetermined distance of the sensor using light and changes in light. When an object is detected near the vehicle, an amplifier (104) activates an alarm circuit (107) to alert the driver that the blind spot is obstructed.
Abstract: Method and apparatus for constructing a regulatable fire fighting water supply line from a continuously pressurized waterline while allowing water to flow freely from said outlet end during its construction.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for a railroad crosstie made from used tires. The tires are cut radially and the sidewalls are removed. Longitudinal and lateral cuts along the inner surface are preferably made to facilitate flattening. Opposing inner surfaces are joined as sets and then stacked and bundled to form a railroad crosstie.
Abstract: An exercise device for supporting one or both ankles during a pushup exercise routine in which the ankle holder is pivotally disposed on an elongated upright stand and the pivoting ankle holders are biased, preferably by weight distribution, so that the ankle receiving surface of each ankle holder is upwardly disposed and ready to receive an ankle.
Abstract: An auxiliary watering system and methods for lowering the temperature of an ambient air supply to an air-conditioning unit that is controlled solely by an acoustic signal from the air-conditioning unit.
Abstract: A venipuncture assistor for use in inserting a needle into a patient's vein in order to draw blood or to carry out an intravenous treatment of some type. The distended. vein is received in a pair of substantially rigid, spaced, opposing notches in the bottom edge of the cylindrical body of the assistor. The notches are preferably spaced about 16 mms. from each other. The space between notches is substantially free of any member that contacts the vein segment being punctured. The edges of each notch and the bottom edge of the assistor are free of any sharp protuberances. The assistor keeps the vein segment being punctured from moving laterally out of the path of the needle that is being introduced into the vein segment. It is preferably made of a transparent plastic material.
Abstract: An ice fishing device for increasing the effective radial fishing range beyond the radius of a fishing hole comprising a fishing rig with a vertical post and a generally horizontal extendable arm. The vertical post moves axially and rotatably relative to the fishing rig and the extendable arm extends radially from the axis of the post for increasing the effective radial fishing range beyond the radius of the fishing hole.
