  • Patent number: 7306556
Abstract: An entrainment device for a centrifugal rotor, which is rotatable about a central rotational axis, having a number of entrainment members arranged in said space for entrainment of entering liquid in the rotation of the centrifugal rotor. The entrainment device comprises a first component, which surrounds the rotational axis and has at least one first projection, which has a radial extension, and a second component, which surrounds the rotational axis and has at least a second projection, which also has a radial extension. The second component is axially insertable in said central space to a position, in which said second projection is present adjacent to said first projection . When the entrainment devices are in place in the central space, a locking member is applicable in releasable engagement with said projection so that the second component is prevented from moving axially relative the first component.

  • Patent number: 7300396
Abstract: In a centrifugal separator a centrifugal rotor is connected to a vertical spindle, which is supported by a frame and journalled in a first bearing and a second bearing. The centrifugal separator is drivable by an electric motor, the stator of the motor being fixed to the frame such that it is radially immovable relative to it, whereas the rotor of the motor is radially movable together with the spindle. The gap between the rotor and the stator of the motor is dimensioned so that it permits the radial movability of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 7294961
Abstract: A photo-radiation source for the selective polymerization of photo-radiation-curable organic material. In a first embodiment, a first electrode is provided with a second electrode disposed adjacent to the first electrode, and defining a gap therebetween. A photo-radiation emission layer is disposed in the gap. The photo-radiation emission layer includes a charge-transport matrix material and an emissive particulate dispersed within the charge-transport matrix material. The emissive particulate receives electrical energy through the charge-transport matrix material applied as a voltage to the first electrode and the second electrode photo-radiation. The emissive particulate generates photo-radiation in response to the applied voltage. This photo-radiation is effective for the selective polymerization of photo-radiation curable organic material.

  • Patent number: 7266895
Abstract: A razor assembly is provided that includes a razor cartridge with one or more razor blades, a shaving aid body, a handle, and a linkage pivotally connected to the handle. The linkage is connected to the razor cartridge and the shaving aid body in a manner such that the razor cartridge and the shaving aid body are moveable relative to the handle. Movement of one of the razor cartridge or the shaving aid body in a first direction causes the other of the razor cartridge or the shaving aid body to move in a second direction substantially opposite the first direction. As a result, the positions of the shaving aid body and the razor cartridge are continuously adjusted to maintain the contact surface of the shaving aid body approximately co-planar with the cutting edges of the razor blades within the razor cartridge.

  • Patent number: 7258113
Abstract: A riser for an archery bow is formed from a fibrous composite material, the matrix of which may be a high heat distortion thermoplastic polymer, a very high heat distortion thermoplastic polymer, or a combination thereof. The riser may incorporate a spine formed from a different polymer or composite than the rest of the riser, or from metal. A method for producing a riser for an archery bow includes the steps of introducing a polymeric composite into a mold from a first end of the mold to facilitate a particular orientation of components of the polymeric composite, molding the polymeric composite to produce a billet that approximates a net shape of the riser, and then machining the billet to the final shape of the riser.
