Abstract: An educational aid that provides a surface, such as a page in a book, that is sectioned into at least two sections. A plurality of concepts are presented in the first section and a plurality of concepts are presented in the second section that relate to the subject matter of the first section. The concepts are at least linguistic, mathematical, and artistic and allow the user to compare the more complex concepts with the simpler concepts and thereby increase the learning curve by building upon an already learned concept.
Abstract: An elongated and flexible hair cutting strip having a first adhesive surface and a second adhesive for trapping hair clippings during a hair cut. The strip circumscribes the neck of a person such that first adhesive surface attaches to said neck in a secure and flush manner. A collar portion of a hair cutting cape attaches to the second adhesive surface in a secure and flush manner. Accordingly, hair clippings are prevented from entering between the first adhesive surface and the neck of a person and are also prevented from entering between the second adhesive surface and said collar portion of the hair cutting cape. In addition, a plurality of hair cutting strips may be used in combination to enclose the neck of a patron.
Abstract: An oil filter installation and removal device is provided to remove an oil filter canister from an engine whereby any leaking oil is captured thereby. The device is substantially cup shaped having an open end and a closed end thereby forming a reservoir therein, wherein a handle extends from said closed end. An attaching member having a small diameter than the open end is maintained within the open end by equidistantly spaced binding means which provide an aperture therebetween. Attaching member receives a bottom end of a canister therein and when torque is applied to the handle it removes the canister from the engine block. Any excess oil which escapes passes through the apertures and is captured within the reservoir.
Abstract: A device that enhances the aesthetic look of preexisting post structures such as a fence, gate, railing, banister, and similar structures. The device is preferably made of two pieces and includes a cavity therebetween to accommodate the post and engage it in a frictional fashion. The device may be adorned with a variety of design elements as desired by the user. In the preferred embodiment, an attaching means may be incorporated into the two pieces to allow expeditious and cost effective attachment thereof.

Abstract: A cover shoe that encloses the junction between the base of a post and a mounting plate is disclosed. The cover shoe is preferably made of two pieces and thus allows the cover shoe to be applied to the junction after the post has been welded to the mounting plate. The two piece cover shoe eliminates the need for field welding of the post to the mounting plate while the cover shoe is precariously slid up the post and maintained there during the welding process.

Abstract: A securing means for enclosing objects of varying size, shape, and materials that allows attachment of an electronic surveillance tag thereto. The securing means having an elongated strap portion extending from a buckle like attachment portion, whereby an end of the elongated portion is inserted into the attachment portion and thereby forms a closed loop. The object to be enclosed is maintained within the loop and the size of the loop can be adjusted by changing the point of fastening of the elongated portion to the attachment portion. To prevent the elongated portion from disconnecting, the elongated portion has a plurality of hitching means disposed thereon and they engage a latching means located on the attachment portion. A plurality of apertures are located medially on the elongated portion axially align with a hole defined by the attachment portion.
