A pressing arrangement with a tooth member can press a locking spline into a groove in the framework to secure the material.

The shoulder straps can be coupled to the brassiere cups by retaining flaps that can be tucked into open inner volumes in the brassiere cups when the brassiere is in a strapless configuration. A privacy panel can be fixedly or removably retained relative to the brassiere cups traversing between upper portions thereof.
