Patent number: 8235184Abstract: A disc brake apparatus that can keep a stable contact state between a torque transmitting part of a brake pad and a torque receiving part of a mounting, so as to reliably suppress a brake noise phenomenon. At the time of forward braking where a main body member of a brake pad is pressed against a disc rotor, the rotational moment acting on the main body member of the brake pad from the disc rotor is absorbed by the main body member rotating relative to a forward braking torque transmitting member about one pin joint, so as to be restrained from being transmitted to the forward braking torque transmitting member. As a result, the respective contact states between two torque transmitting protrusions formed in the forward braking torque transmitting member of the brake pad and torque receiving surfaces formed in a forward braking torque receiving part of a mounting are held stable.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2007Date of Patent: August 7, 2012Assignee: Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Toru Matsushima

Patent number: 7903133Abstract: An optical scanner includes a light source modulated based on image data, an optical deflection and scanning part deflecting a light beam emitted from the light source, and a scanning and imaging optical system condensing the deflected light beam toward a scanning surface so as to form a light spot optically scanning the scanning surface. The effective scanning region of the scanning surface is divided into a plurality of regions according to a scanning line curving characteristic. Suitable image data for optically scanning the divided regions are selected from image data of a plurality of image lines every time the light spot optically scans the effective scanning region, so that the image data of each of the image lines is written with scanning line curving being corrected.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2006Date of Patent: March 8, 2011Assignee: Ricoh Company, Ltd.Inventors: Seizo Suzuki, Yoshinori Hayashi, Kazuyuki Shimada

Patent number: 7889116Abstract: An object detecting apparatus for detecting an object by a plurality of radars, with improved accuracy of identity determination and acquisition of position information in fusion of detection results. The object detecting apparatus is arranged to obtain a moving path of a detected point by a radar and to perform pairing as follows: if a detected point by a radar exists in a region based on the moving path and if a relative velocity thereof is matched with that of the detected point of interest, the detected point is paired as a corresponding detected point.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2007Date of Patent: February 15, 2011Assignee: Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tomoaki Harada, Hisashi Satonaka

Patent number: 7841387Abstract: A pump-free water-cooling system includes a heat-exchange circulating solution container containing heat-exchange circulating solution and vapor of the circulating solution, at least one solution outlet to discharge the circulating solution from the container, and a gas-liquid two-phase fluid inlet to charge into the container gas-liquid two-phase fluid composed of the circulating solution. The system also includes a circulating-solution transporting route in which a first transportation route is linked to a second transportation route which is linked to a third transportation route. A sensible-heat-emitting heat exchanger is provided along the first transportation route. The first transportation route is linked with the solution outlet. Heat exchange is carried out along the second transportation route at least between circulating solution therein and the circulating solution in the container. A heating heat exchanger is provided along the third transportation route.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 2008Date of Patent: November 30, 2010Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Shigetoshi Ippoushi, Nobuaki Uehara, Akira Yamada, Tetsuro Ogushi
