Abstract: A hydrosilyl-terminated polyoxyethylene compound of the general formula (I), a quaternary-salt-terminated polyoxyethylene/polyorganosiloxane block copolymer of the general formula (II) derived from the above compound, and a percutaneous drug absorption promoter comprising the above copolymer (II). The copolymer is usable as a percutaneous absorption promoter having a good drug absorption promoting effect and being effective for various drugs.

Abstract: An aqueous dispersion containing a copolymer comprisinga) 60-95% by weight of a C.sub.2 -C.sub.10 -alkyl (meth)acrylateb) 5-40% by weight of methyl acrylatec) 0-30% by weight of methyl methacrylated) 0-30% by weight of a C.sub.8 -C.sub.12 -vinylaromatic compounde) 0-10% by weight of a C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 -hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylatef) 0-5% by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated C.sub.3 -C.sub.5 -carboxylic acid or dicarboxylic acidg) 0-20% by weight of further ethylenically unsaturated compounds,vinyl acetate and chlorine-containing compounds being excluded, is used as an adhesive.
