  • Patent number: 8262461
Abstract: A process generates, with a wager slip generation apparatus, a plurality of wager slips corresponding to a hybrid game such that each wager slip indicates a plurality of parallel matrices that each has a set of corresponding parallel matrix specific numbers. Further, the process generates, with a prize category display module, a display that indicates a spot prize that is won by a player having a predetermined number of matched parallel matrices. Each matched parallel matrix having a match between a spot quantity of numbers selected by the player from the set of corresponding parallel matrix specific numbers and a quantity of randomly drawn numbers from the set of corresponding parallel matrix specific numbers. In addition, the process receives, from each player, a selection of the spot quantity of numbers corresponding to each parallel matrix generated on one of the plurality of wager slips.

  • Patent number: 8200618
Abstract: A method and a system for analyzing a data value of interest in a multidimensional database. The data value of interest is first identified in a structured report. The data source for the structured report is retrieved. A context for the data value of interest in the data source is collected, for example, by extracting a slicer from the structured report, by extracting members of master-detail pages, or by extracting a default measure from the structured report. An analysis specification based on the collected context is then built, and the data value of interest is analyzed using the analysis specification. The result from analyzing the data value of interest may be presented in an analysis view.

  • Patent number: 8201151
Abstract: A computer program product comprises a computer useable medium. The computer useable medium has a computer readable program such that when the computer readable medium is executed on a computer, the computer is caused to configure an interceptor at a service invocation point corresponding to a component service of a software application. Further, the computer is caused to record, at the interceptor, data in a trace file. The data is associated with a service invocation at the service invocation point. Finally, the computer is caused to provide the trace file to a service level debugger that navigates through the trace file.

  • Patent number: 8191135
Abstract: A method for accessing failed events in an integrated server environment is disclosed. The method comprises providing a thin client in an application server within the environment, wherein the thin client provides role-based access to a failed event, and wherein the role-based access is based upon a user's ability to access critical data. A thin client referred to as the failed event manager aids the user via a web browser, to manage events that failed during an integration scenario. Apart from being web-based, the failed event manager application also provides role-based access wherein users with certain roles are restricted in their ability to access critical data. The web-based failed event manager uses the security of the underlying application server, thus providing a secure environment. A system and method in accordance with the present invention takes advantage of the distributed computing capabilities of the underlying application server.

  • Patent number: 8156479
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring dynamic scopes in a runtime environment is disclosed. The system and method utilizes an algorithm which may be applied to both synchronous and asynchronous invocations. The method comprises determining an initial scope of a source component, the initial scope being a scope of the source component upon providing a synchronous call to invoke a target component. The scope declaration specified by the target component is determined. A resultant scope present upon invocation of the target component is then determined. The resultant scope is determined based on the initial scope of the source component and the scope declaration specified by the target component. A record is stored in a centralized location identifying the resultant scope, and the target component as a participant in the resultant scope.
