Abstract: Provided is a liquid processing apparatus (method) that forms a coating film by supplying and pouring a coating solution from a coating solution nozzle onto a surface of a substrate held substantially horizontally by a substrate holder. In the liquid processing apparatus (method), a unit for photographing a leading end portion of a coating solution nozzle 10 is provided. When performing a process for anti-drying of the coating solution for a long period of time in advance, a position of the coating solution and a position of an anti-drying liquid are set by using a soft scale 121a displayed on a screen where the photographed image is displayed. Therefore, a dispense control is performed based on a set value without depending on the naked eyes and a control for suppressing the drying of the coating solution in the leading end portion of the coating solution nozzle is performed.
Abstract: A method of recycling useful metals is provided. The method enables useful metals including indium, zinc, yttrium, europium, lanthanum, terbium, gadolinium, antimony, lead, copper, tin, and silver to be recovered from wastes, such as wasted flat panel displays, and recycled economically with small energy consumption. The method of recycling useful metals includes: a step in which wastes comprising various flat panel displays, e.g., liquid-crystal display panels, are crushed/powdered; a step in which the resultant particles are dissolved in an aqueous hydrofluoric acid solution; and a step in which various metal oxides and various metal fluorides which remain undissolved are filtered off and the aqueous hydrofluoric acid solution containing various metal ions is electrolyzed to deposit and recover metals for transparent-electrode oxides, such as indium and zinc, and other useful metals.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a short recoil firearm (1) comprising a main body (2); a barrel (7) slidingly mounted on the main body (2) and movable between a forward percussion position and a backward recoil position; a slider (17) slidingly mounted on the main body (2) and movable between a forward position of closure of the barrel (7) and a backward stop position. The firearm (1) further comprises a plurality of cylindrical rollers (22) operatively connected to a spirally wound tape spring (26). The cylindrical rollers are movable between a first configuration, in which they lie mutually side by side between the slider (17) and the barrel (7), to prevent the relative movement thereof and to allow the integral displacement of same, and a second configuration, in which they lie in a recovery chamber (27).
Abstract: In a multiuser MIMO system, entire system throughput achieved during retransmission is significantly enhanced. When an interference signal addressed to another user equipment (UE2) 200b has been demodulated successfully, a user equipment (UE1) 200a holds the demodulated data pertaining to the interference signal, and feeds back ACK information about the UE2 and CQI information achieved after elimination of the interference signal to a radio base station (BS) 100. When the UE2 performs retransmission after ended in a receiving failure and when the UE1 has demodulated the interference signal addressed to the UE2 successfully, the BS changes the distribution of communication resources in such a way that communication resources for the UE2 become larger than those for the UE1.
Abstract: There is provided a modulation profile generator and spread spectrum clock generator including the modulation profile generator. The modulation profile generator includes an input signal generator that generates an input signal; a function calculator that outputs a function calculation result in the form of a square root graph by using the input signal as an input of a function; and a profile generator that generates a non-linear modulation profile based on the function calculation result. As a result, it is possible to effectively reduce electromagnetic interference.

Abstract: A technology is disclosed for actualizing an ultrasound probe that can obtain a high-resolution diagnostic image and is highly reliable. In the technology, a piezoelectric element has a predetermined thickness, a ground electrode is formed on one surface in a thickness direction, and a signal electrode is formed on the other surface. When an acoustic matching layer is laminated on a ground electrode formation surface of the piezoelectric element, the acoustic matching layer is configured by a composite material made of a plurality of materials including at least a conductive member. The conductive member has portions penetrating in a layer thickness direction at a plurality of sections on the one electrode formation surface of the piezoelectric element.

Abstract: Information on other code words can be utilized at the time of retransmitting, and transmission characteristics of the case of using multiple code words are improved. In a radio communication apparatus for transmitting data using multiple code words, as response time taken by a transmitting station to receive a response signal (Ack/Nack signal) after the data is transmitted from the transmitting station (BS) to a receiving station (UE), a cycle of second response time (RTT2) corresponding to a low-order code word is longer than a cycle of first response time (RTT1) corresponding to a high-order code word. In the receiving station, received data of the low-order code word is decoded using at least one of retransmission data and the first received data of the high-order code word and response signals are respectively generated according to a decoding result of each of the code words and notification of the response signal is provided.
Abstract: Provided is a semiconductor device manufacturing method for a capacitor having a dielectric film which can be formed into a thin film, can be formed at a low temperature, and has a readily controllable property. The manufacturing method includes: forming, on a conductor for serving as one electrode of a capacitor, a manganese oxide film for serving as a dielectric film of the capacitor; and forming, on the manganese oxide film, a conductive film for serving as the other electrode of the capacitor.
