Abstract: A sex enhancer is a flexible and deformable fluid-filled enclosure with a smooth exterior surface having a rounded shape. The sex enhancer is heated and inserted into the vagina before sexual intercourse. During sexual intercourse, the penis pushes the sex enhancer against the cervix to provide enhanced pleasure to the woman without detracting from the pleasure of the man.

Abstract: A particulate trap system for an internal combustion engine includes a plurality of contiguous porous walls, and a remotely actuated relief valve downstream of said trap for periodically creating a reverse pressure throughout the exhaust system upstream of the relief valve and including said trap. A reversing apparatus periodically creates a reverse pressure drop across a portion of the contiguous porous walls of said trap to dislodge accumulated particulate and cause a portion of the filtered exhaust gas to flow back through said portion of the contiguous porous walls to remove particulate therefrom. A control system actuates the relief valve and the reversing apparatus. In one embodiment the system is utilized on a vehicle and the reversing apparatus includes a relief valve that is also operative as an exhaust brake.

Abstract: A splash-eliminating urinal contains an outer body and a receptor cavity within the outer body. The receptor cavity contains a rear surface having projecting concave rear walls that converge to form sides of an outwardly-projecting vertical ridge, and two side walls that transition to the rear walls. When a stream of urine is directed onto the rear walls, it adheres by surface tension without causing a splash.

Abstract: A method enabling a long gun to be stored upright in a cabinet having a floor and an overhanging surface. The apparatus has: (a) a rod having a thickness less than the inside diameter of the gun barrel and having a length greater than the difference between the height of the surface and the length of the gun, the rod being inserted into the gun barrel; (b) a cap attached to one end of the rod, the cap having a diameter greater than the inside diameter of the gun barrel, the cap limiting the insertion of the rod into the gun barrel; and (c) removably attaching the cap to the underside of the overhanging surface via a magnet or hook-and-loop material.

Abstract: A floor drain communicates with a vertical floor drain pipe. The floor drain has a flanged cylindrical body that fits within the vertical pipe or fitting, a ring that overlaps and is spaced above the flange, and a grate or cover that fits upon the upper surface of the ring. The ring is supported by elevating screws that pass through the flange of the body. Adjustment of the elevating screws enable the height and pitch of the ring and grate or cover to be quickly and easily adjusted.

Abstract: Vegetables are grown by (a) applying an effective amount of a fumigant to the soil where the vegetables will be grown; (b) placing a barrier mulch film over the fumigated soil; (c) planting vegetables in the soil under the barrier mulch film; (d) maintaining the barrier mulch film in place over the soil for substantially the entire growing season to reduce weeds and to control temperature; and (e) harvesting the vegetables. The barrier mulch film contains: (i) an upper layer comprising a polyolefin and a sunlight reflecting/absorbing agent; (ii) a second layer comprising an adhesive; (iii) a third layer comprising a barrier plastic; (iv) a fourth layer comprising an adhesive; and (v) a lower layer comprising a polyolefin and a sunlight absorbing agent.

Abstract: A pitching machine contains a pitching arm that vertically rotates at a speed of about 5 to 15 rpm, picks up a ball from the ball cradle at a pick-up point in its rotation, and then releases the ball at a release point in its rotation to provide a first velocity component to the ball. The pitching machine also contains a wheel that vertically rotates at a speed of about 300 to 3000 rpm. The wheel is positioned at the release point of the pitching arm to provide a second velocity component to the ball and to pitch the ball at an initial launch angle.

Abstract: A wind turbine generator produces alternating current. The generator contains an inner cylindrical stator and an outer cylindrical rotating housing. The stator has a transverse row of molded magnetic flux members mounted on its exterior wall and a metal conductor running through a continuous transverse channel defined by the flux members. The rotating housing has a transverse row of permanent magnets mounted on the interior wall of the outer cylinder. Rotation of the housing causes the permanent magnets to induce magnetic fields in the flux members that induce an alternating current in the metal conductor.

Abstract: A carbon dioxide manifold contains an internal passage providing communication between a pump supply, a liquid container, a gas container, and a beverage dispenser. A valve is located inside the internal passage. The valve has an open position in which communication exists between the liquid container, the gas container, and the beverage dispenser, but not with the pump supply. The valve has a closed position in which communication exists between the pump supply and the liquid container, and between the gas container and beverage dispenser, but the only communication between the pump supply/liquid container and the gas container/beverage dispenser is through an orifice that allows a restricted flow of carbon dioxide through the valve.

Abstract: A battery terminal-cable connector provides an electrical connection between a battery terminal and a cable. The connector contains an integral cylindrical sleeve and flanges member, a cable fitting, a bolt, a pin, and a cam lever. The cam lever is movable between a first position that allows the flanges to separate and a second position that urges the flanges to contact.

Abstract: An ammonia knife assembly is mounted onto a toolbar and is moved across a field to apply ammonia into the bottom of a trench. The ammonia knife assembly includes a knife for piercing the ground and creating the trench, an ammonia supply tube, and a horizontal shield attached to the knife. The shield has a rounded portion extending forwardly from the leading edge and two side portions extending outwardly from the sides of the knife for deflecting any dirt particles that may be thrown upwardly and outwardly from the leading edge of the knife as it pierces the ground.

Abstract: A fishing game is played with a rod, a reel, and line. A holder is connected to the end of the line and an engaging fabric marker is removably attached to the holder. The holder and marker are cast at a target having an engaging fabric surface. If the marker lands on the target, it remains engaged to the target and separates from the holder when the line is retrieved.

Abstract: A toilet bolt cover hides the portion of a toilet bolt extending upwardly through a mounting hole in the toilet base along with a washer and a nut threaded upon the bolt. The cover includes a base and a cap. The base has a wall with external threads and the cap has internal threads. The base of the cover has a descending member that extends downwardly into the mounting hole in the toilet base to limit rotation of the base of the cover.

Abstract: A filter assembly for a seawall filters the flow of groundwater through a hole in the wall. The filter assembly includes: (a) a housing containing a flat flange and a perforated conical shell, the shell adapted to extend into the hole with its apex extending toward the landward side, the flange having a seaward side adapted to fit flushly against the seawall, the flange having a landward side connected to the shell, the flange having an opening that defines an open base for the shell; (b) a perforated conical cage having an open base that fits within the shell of the housing; (c) a conical filter element having an open base that fits within the cage; (d) a perforated conical sleeve having an open base that fits within the filter element; and (e) a perforated cap that is removably and flushly fastened to the opening in the flange to secure the cage, filter element, and sleeve within the shell of the housing.

Abstract: A coupler is used with umbrella strollers having tubular frames and four wheel assemblies. The coupler connects two unfolded strollers in a side-by-side position with a sufficient distance between them to prevent any contact between the wheel assemblies of the strollers. The coupler contains a receptacle having a set of three resilient C-shaped clips extending outwardly from each side wall for connecting the coupler to the strollers.

Abstract: A safety cage is used in waterblasting with a lance comprising a hollow rod and a nozzle having a diameter larger than the diameter of the rod. The safety cage is an enclosure having an open bottom and a transparent top. The top has a slot and a means for allowing movement through the slot of the rod but not the nozzle of the lance.
