  • Patent number: 5094625
Abstract: A system for connecting a flat shielded cable of the type comprising a stacking of three conductors, namely, one high voltage conductor and two low voltage equipotential conductors. The system comprises linking electric conductors partially uninsulated at their extremities, which are in intimate contact with corresponding tracks of the flat cable (10), elastic pads (40-43) making it possible to transmit sufficient pressure to the electric contact pickup linkages, and a casing (50, 51) formed of two half-shells closed on the unit constituted by the linkages and the elastic pads, and a device (60, 70) for retaining the two half-shells in either spaced apart or closed position. The system is used for the connection of high voltage cables.

  • Patent number: 4715007
Abstract: An instrument for measuring a thickness of a surface processing film on a metal includes a plurality of instruction executing keys, an enclosed recording apparatus, a terminal for connecting a probe to detect an electrical signal corresponding to the film thickness when the probe is pressed onto the metal, a circuit for converting the electrical signal obtained from the probe to a digital value indicative of the film thickness, and a circuit for arithmetically processing the digital value in accordance with instructions by the instruction executing keys. The results of the processing are outputted to the recording apparatus.

  • Patent number: RE28907
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a threaded bushing which, upon entering and turning in the initially smooth bore of the work piece, will form through its own male thread the corresponding internal thread within the wall of the work piece bore. The bushing is formed with one or more exterior bevels or grooves which extend axially over at least several threads and intersect such threads to form spoon or cup-shaped frontal areas where each bevel or groove merges into a respective thread.
