Abstract: A mower attachment, such as a string trimmer, is removably connectable to the forward end of a riding mower, such as a zero turn mower. The attachment is easily connected to and removed from the mower. The attachment has a control lever which is positioned on the attachment such that the attachment can be activated and deactivated by the mower operator using his or her feet, such that operator can operate the attachment and yet maintain his or her hands on the mower controls.
Abstract: This invention is a Standing board for prams, which is fastened to a pram with fastening beams that protrude from the Standing board and that have means for fastening to the pram on their outer ends. The fastening beams (4, 5) point forward in the Standing board's normal direction of movement and are basically parallel with it. They are also adjustable in a right angle to the movement direction, mounted on the forward edge of the Standing board with their fastenings (8, 9), which have means for retaining the fastenings in their adjusted position on the Standing board (1). The fastening beams are mounted in a manner that allows them to be twisted in the fastenings for adjustment of their angle relative to the supporting area.
Abstract: A method for compensating axial misalignment between wheel-mounted alignment sensors and an axis of rotation for an associated wheel. The method compensates sensors mounted to each wheel of a vehicle simultaneously, without requiring jacking of the vehicle wheels above a supporting surface, and which only requires wheel rotational movement over an arc of 60 degrees or less. The method utilizes measurements of a change in a wheel toe angle and measurements of a change in a wheel camber angle, during a measured rotational movement of the wheel, to identify sinusoidal variation in the respective toe and camber angles during the wheel's rotational movement, from which a measure of axial misalignment between the wheel-mounted alignment sensor axis of rotation and the wheel axis of rotation is identified.

Abstract: Use of the barrier property effect of nanomaterials to improve the electrical insulation resistance, corrosion protection and bond strength properties of electromagnetic devices. The beneficial effects are realized with nanomaterial loadings of 1-20%, and preferably between 1-5%, parts by weight of coating resins. Nanomaterials include, but are not limited to, silica, alumina, zirconia, and antimony pentoxide, which are dispersed either directly into a coating, or pre-dispersed in a carrier appropriate to the solvent of the resin system. Resulting formulations benefit from the fact anti-settling agents need not be incorporated into the resin to keep the inorganic material suspended. Also, the rheology of the resin system is not significantly altered which would otherwise affect processing of the resins for their intended applications.
Abstract: Apparatus for binding perfect bound books of different thickness is disclosed where the amount of adhesive applied to the spine of the book block may be varied in relation to the thickness of the book block. An adhesive application station is provided which has a rotary driven adhesive application wheel partially immersed in a bath of a liquefied adhesive such that as a portion of the wheel rotates up out of the adhesive, the periphery of the wheel is coated with a layer of adhesive. An area of increased thickness of the adhesive if formed adjacent the top of the wheel so that upon effecting relative movement of the book block and the adhesive application station, adhesive is applied to the spine of the book block.
Abstract: An electric motor comprising a rotor, a stator and a field weakening device. The rotor has a plurality of magnets mounted thereto, and the stator is located adjacent to the rotor and has a plurality of slots defined therein. The slots define raised teeth and are wound with electrical wiring to generate a magnetic field when the wiring is energized with current. The field weakening device is made from a highly magnetically permeable material and a comparatively lower magnetically permeable material. The field weakening device is disposed between the rotor and the stator and is selectively movable between a first position to align the highly magnetically permeable material between the teeth of the stator and the magnets of the rotor and a second position to align the comparatively lower magnetically permeable material between the teeth of the stator and the magnets of the rotor.

Abstract: A key holder, comprising an external housing and an internal housing pivotably mounted inside the external housing. Keys can be retractably mounted in the internal housing with means by which keys can be extended in and out of the internal housing while the internal housing. The internal housing can be rotated in relation to the external housing when the keys are retracted into said internal housing with the keys in the internal housing held under pressure against a plug of soft material to dampen rattling when in a retracted position. The external housing includes an internal chamber sized and configured to contain a larger remote key adjacent the internal housing when the internal housing is retracted into the key holder. Other aspects of the key holder include an integral flash light or cell phone.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining the alignment of a vehicle wheel using an optical target attached to the vehicle wheel, the optical target having a dimensionally stable shape and a plurality of target elements arranged in a known geometric and spatial configuration relative to each other. A two-dimensional image of the optical target is acquired by an imaging system to detect a plurality of target element images corresponding to the plurality of target elements arranged on the optical target. A spatial orientation of the optical target and an alignment of the vehicle wheel is then determined from the plurality of target element images and the known geometric and spatial configuration of the plurality of target elements on the optical target.

Abstract: The invention concerns a cooling system for electronic devices, especially computers, comprising an evaporator (1), a vapor-distribution and condensate-collection element (3) and a condenser (2) with a plurality of condenser pipes (6) and a block of fins (5) connecting the condenser pipes (6), wherein the condenser pipes (6) are arranged parallel to each other and extend upwards from the vapor-distribution and condensate-collection element (3) and are closed at their upper ends.
Abstract: A rotating exercise device is provided. In various embodiments, the rotating exercise device includes a stationary pedestal and a gearbox rotatably mounted to the pedestal such that the gearbox is rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the pedestal. The rotating exercise device additionally includes a user seat mounted to a top of the gearbox and a user operable drive mechanism that is operably connected to the gear box. The user operable drive mechanism is structured and operable to, via control and operation of a user sitting on the seat, impart rotational force on the stationary pedestal to cause the gear box, seat and user to rotate about the longitudinal axis of the pedestal as the user operates the user operable drive mechanism.
Abstract: A lighting fixture (1010) has a fluorescent tube (1012) and a plurality of emitters (1022-1032). A color sensor (1016) detects light that has been totally internally reflected within a diffuser (1014) and provides a color feedback signal to a feedback control circuit (1020) to control the light output from the fixture (1012).
