Abstract: A machine for inspecting a container having a vertical axis has an inspection station including an inspection device for carrying out an inspection on a transparent container relative to a vertical inspection axis. The bottle is delivered to the inspection station by a conveyor, which includes structure for engaging the sidewall of the bottle. The invention is an object to be inspected by such an inspection machine, which includes a container like adaptor having a vertical axis, and configured for handling by the conveyor structure so that when the container like adaptor engages the structure, the conveyor will deliver the container like adaptor to the inspection station. The container like adaptor has a horizontal top surface and a vertical axis, and a magnet is mounted in the top surface having a centering axis coincident with the vertical axis of the container like adaptor.
Abstract: A spa apparatus includes a basin for retaining fluid, a removable foot rest plate positioned within the basin, an impeller, and a motor coupled to the impeller to create a high pressure zone in the basin underneath the foot rest plate. The foot rest plate may be made of a plastic material. A seal is provided between the foot rest plate and the basin such that the seal is maintained even if the foot rest plate is deflected or distorted by the water pressure underneath it.
Abstract: A lighting fixture housing includes two end caps, a reflector assembly, and a ballast box cover. The two end caps further include top and bottom flanges and mounting brackets having support tabs extending thereon. The lighting fixture housing is installed by first sliding the end caps into position at opposite ends of an opening in a suspended ceiling formed of a T-bar grid, and then attaching the reflector assembly to the end caps. The reflector assembly may be temporarily suspended from the end caps so that electrical connections to the assembly are made and the ballast box cover installed.
Abstract: An animal alerting device system and method for mounting in a vehicle produces a sound that stimulates an alertness response in large animals to reduce the likelihood that the animals will run into a roadway and cause an animal-vehicle crash. The sound produced by the device is a random sound pattern in an audible frequency range. The volume of the sound produced is automatically adjusted for vehicle speed. Different sound patterns may be produced automatically based on different geographical locations of the vehicle in which the device is mounted.
