Abstract: The brake for web bearing shaft in a web support frame of a web feeder for rotary press comprises a pneumatic brake provided individually on a web bearing shaft mounted rotatably on each web support arm of a radial arm member installed on a rotating shaft, a pneumatic circuit for feeding compressed air at every pneumatic brakes, a solenoid valve provided at every pneumatic circuits, a solenoid valve switching means for operating each solenoid valve according to a turning phase of each web support arm. Then, the solenoid valve is a valve provided with manual operation, and the solenoid valve switching means comprises either slip ring having a combination of segment conductors and brushes or segment cam and electric switch operated by the cam.

Abstract: A pocket structure for assembly between two adjacent rail members of a pool table comprising a pocket defining insert having non-circular pin means extending from opposite ends thereof that fit and bind in apertures in the rail members to snugly secure them together in the desired position when the rail members are secured to a pool table frame.

Abstract: A rotary distributor fuel pumping apparatus has a spill valve which is operable to terminate delivery of fuel by a cam actuated pumping plunger. The spill valve is operable by a first piston and a further piston is provided the extent of movement of which is limited by an adjustable stop. A further plunger is actuated in synchronism with the pumping plunger and supplies liquid to the cylinders containing the pistons. When during the inward movement of the plungers, the movement of the further piston is halted the first piston will move to open the spill valve to terminate delivery of fuel.

Abstract: The filter is formed by a wall (6) separating a vacuum chamber (3a, 3b) from a space (1) where a paint spray gun (2) is located. The lower part (5) of the wall (6) dips into the water of a collecting tank (7). The wall (6) is pierced by a multiplicity of holes, in each of which is fastened a tube (8) projecting on its two faces. On the same side as the vacuum chamber (3a, 3b), each tube is equipped with a deflector (10) at its outflow. Water from a reservoir (11) flows off via an overflow (12) and streams (15) over the entire upstream face of the wall (6). This water rebounds on the projecting parts of the tubes (8), and the shape and size of the pent roofs (9) guarantee that the tubes (8) suck up the best possible mixture of air and water. This assists the capture of paint droplets by the water. The deflectors, by compelling the mixture of air and water laden with paint droplets or other impurities to change direction abruptly, assist the capture of these droplets by the water.

Abstract: A coffee grinder adapted to discharge ground coffee directly into a brewing funnel which is readily insertable and removable from the grinder. The grinder is equipped with brewing funnel support means in the form of a pair of spring clips mounted to the grinder. The spring clips have two pairs of yieldably spreadable support elements for accommodating brewing funnels of different sizes. Thus, large size brewing funnels that would result in permanent distortion of the pair of support elements suitable for smaller funnels can be accommodated in the second pair of support elements without producing permanent distortion of the later.

Abstract: A flexion rod (1) has two through holes (2, 3) connected together by a hollow portion (4). Four weakened portions (5, 6, 7, 8) are thus formed in the rod (1). A quadruple strain gauge (9) is fixed to the rod (1) at a right angle with one (5) of said weakened portions, and in order to correct the inaccuracy of the measurements resulting from the presence of the quadruple strain gauge (9) at only one location of the rod (1), two calibrated notches (10, 11) are provided at a right angle with other weakened portions (7, 8).

Abstract: A stop-check valve includes inside a valve body a swing check valve disc and a contacting projection. A vertically mounted valve rod provided with a handwheel and having at the lower end a structure of a cylindrical contact portion is further included. The contact portion is vertically movable in coupling arrangement with the valve rod and capable of contacting with the contacting projection on the valve disc.

Abstract: The device permits the control of a derailleur by means of a lever (9) with the use of indexation means which ensure a precise positioning of the lever in the various positions corresponding to the various gear ratios. It also permits the adjustment of the indexation pitch, so as to adapt it to freewheels having a different spacings or pitches between different sprocket pinions. For this purpose, positioning elements (19) may be shifted by a pitch selection element (21) so that the pitch between the various positions of the lever is modified.

Abstract: A standard-dimensioned, double-deck trailer capable of transporting six full-size cars and finding utility as well in the handling of general freight and merchandise, the latter to be loaded from either side or from the rear of the trailer. In addition to a floor, the trailer includes a deck which is hydraulically positionable as an inclined ramp for loading and unloading of vehicles carried on the deck, and which is adjustable to assume a horizontal mode during transport of the vehicles thereon. The deck can be elevated to an out-of-the-way storage position upon unloading of the vehicles, thus providing clear and unobstructed cargo space within the trailer for receiving freight for transport. The trailer frame is characterized in that it includes laterally spaced, elongatged beam assemblies which define inside beam elements disposed within the rear wheels of the trailer, and outside beam elements which extend along an outer margin of the frame at a forward end of the trailer.

Abstract: Input pulses are applied to toggle a first bistable whose output provide clock signals to a monostable timer whose period is set to the duration of one cycle of the input pulse a a critical frequency. A second bistable enables a third bistable and a counter only if an edge of a pulse from the timer occurs in an interval of the clock signals from the bistable. Thereafter the counter is clocked by pulses which are derived from the clock signals of the first bistable by the third bistable. The counter provides an indication after a predetermined number of the input pulses which have reached the critical frequency. An output signal derived from the indication may be maintained by a fourth bistable.

Abstract: A locking device includes a striker and a latch. The striker projects from the back side of an openable wall which is hinged on a housing. The latch is secured to the edge of an opening of the housing so that it faces the striker for engaging with and holding the striker in a snap-engaged state when the openable wall is closed. The latch is rotatably mounted in the housing so that the rotation thereof follows the direction of insertion of the striker into the latch.

Abstract: A composition for preparing a medicament for topical treatment of paradentium diseases, said composition comprising the ammonium salt of sulfoichthyolic acid, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide and fluid extract of Hamamelis in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Said composition is useful especially for treatment of gingivitis and alveolar pyorrhea.
