Abstract: An improved cartridge of a type having a casing and a bullet with a tip expellable from the casing for entering a target. The improvement includes the bullet having a pair of throughbores bored through different levels thereof for causing the bullet to expand violently and over a wide diameter and mushroom halfway in the target so as to cause severe damage, destruction, and hemorrhage to internal organs of the target for a quick kill, with the mushrooming being regular up to a first throughbore of said pair of throughbores and then splitting causing not only a wider mushroom but a sudden extra shock to the target due to more energy transfer caused by more tissue displacement of the target due to the wider mushroom, and with the bullet then splitting again at a second throughbore of said pair of throughbores so as to further widen the mushroom for even more shock and damage to the internal organs of the target causing a quicker kill by virtue of the bullet expanding and peeling back to nearly inside out.

Abstract: A hand-held device for scrubbing a body part therewith and for capturing a washing article, such as, but not limited to, a bar of soap, a wash cloth, or even both, therein. The device includes a body that is slender, elongated, generally rectangular-parallelepiped-shaped, has a pair of ends for grabbing by the hands of a user, a length, a width, an abrasiveness, is tubular for capturing the washing article therein, and the pair of ends thereof are open for inserting and removing the washing article therein and therefrom. The body includes a first plurality of threads that are flexible nylon, parallel to, and spaced-apart from, each other, and run longitudinally along the length thereof, and a second plurality of threads that are flexible nylon, parallel to, and spaced-apart, from each other, and run laterally around the width thereof.

Abstract: A protector for a front fender of a vehicle that includes a first layer of material for facing the front fender, a second layer of material attached to the first layer of material for facing away from the front fender, apparatus for maintaining the protector on the front fender, and an open topped transparent pocket disposed on the second layer of material for holding papers pertaining to the vehicle. The apparatus includes a pocket that is slender, elongated, and extends along the length of an upper terminal edge of the first layer of material for depending inwardly of the front fender of the vehicle. The pocket is divided into a long central portion, and a pair of short terminal portions that are shorter than and straddle the long central portion of the pocket. The long central portion is filled with sand for weight in maintaining the protector on the front fender, while the pair of short terminal portions are empty of the sand and lie flat for not catching on the hood hinges of the vehicle.

Abstract: A clock with novelty hands that exhibit a different configuration at each time change when viewed from a same elevation, and by memorizing the different configurations, a viewer can tell time without having to consult its clock face. The clock includes a base, a clock face, a specifically configured second hand rotatably mounted to the base, a second apparatus, a specifically configured minute hand, minute apparatus, a specifically configured hour hand, hour apparatus, and a bell jar. The clock face disposed on the base. The specifically configured second hand is rotatably mounted to the base. The second apparatus rotatably mounts the second hand to the base. The specifically configured minute hand is rotatably mounted to the base. The minute apparatus rotatably mounts the minute hand to the base. The specifically configured hour hand is rotatably mounted to the base.

Abstract: An air deflector that includes a frame, multiple airfoils, and apparatus for adjusting the angle of attack of the air deflector. The frame includes a pair of side fences. The multiple airfoils include three airfoils, each which has a negative chamber for increasing downward force and traction and extends perpendicularly laterally from one side fence to another side fence. The three airfoils are disposed in such a tandem orientation that airflow thereacross is laminar which eliminates turbulence so as to minimize boundary layer separation and eddies resulting thereby and slip caused thereby. Air flowing over a forwardmost airfoil flows through a first air space and under an intermediate airfoil and air flowing over the intermediate airfoil flows through a second air space and under a rearwardmost airfoil so as to eliminate wake formation at the trailing edges of the forwardmost airfoil and the intermediate airfoil.

Abstract: A device for suspending from the neck, immediately below the chin, and for minimizing dribbling, dropping, and spilling of food, without use of hands. The device includes a suspender that hooks the neck and a tray that is suspended from the suspender and holds the food. The suspender is tubular and made from a semi-rigid wire that is enclosed in a foam material. The suspender includes a first portion that extends horizontally to a second portion that extends horizontally forwardly from the first portion, to a third portion that extends horizontally from the second portion, to a fourth portion that extends horizontally from the third portion and which define an opening. A fifth portion is pivotally mounted to the fourth portion, by a pivot joint, and extends generally upwardly therefrom in a hook-like fashion for hooking the neck.

Abstract: A whistle case that is adapted to house and keep clean and quiet a whistle that has a mouthpiece portion and a remaining portion with a slot and a loop that extends therefrom and a ball that is movably contained therein. The whistle case includes a case sized and shaped so as to be adapted to snugly yet replaceably house the whistle therein.

Abstract: A self-powered device for cutting foliage that includes a backpack portion, a foliage cutting portion, and a coupling portion. The backpack portion includes a frame, a gas engine, and a flexible shaft. The coupling portion includes a power portion and a tool portion. The power portion includes a collar that is crimped on the sheathing of the flexible shaft of the backpack portion and a stop that extends fixedly and axially from the collar of the power portion. The tool portion includes a collar that is crimped on the casing of the flexible drive shaft of the foliage cutting portion with the end thereof having a blind bore extending axially therethrough which fixedly receives the end of the flexible shaft of the backpack portion. The collar of the tool portion has an inner periphery that fixedly receives the stop of the power portion.

Abstract: A rotating display that includes a fixed frame, a rotating frame that is rotatably mounted to the fixed frame, and apparatus that rotatably moves the rotating frame relative to the fixed frame. The apparatus includes a pool that contains water, eight movable arms that receive associated ends of associated fixed arms and move radially along the associated fixed arms, four joining bars that fixedly join and extend radially along aligned associated pairs of moveable arms, eight weights that are affixed on associated ends of associated joining bars, eight air pumps that have housings that are fixedly attached to associated bars and contain bellows, eight tubes that extend from inner terminal ends radially outwardly from the housings of associated air pumps to outer terminal ends, with the inner terminal ends thereof being in fluid communication with the bellows of the associated air pumps, and eight balls that are in fluid communication with the outer terminal ends of associated tubes.

Abstract: A portable system for removing oil from an oil containing device. The system includes a pump, fluid conduit apparatus, and power conduit apparatus. The pump pumps the oil out of the oil containing device. The fluid conduit apparatus is in fluid communication with the pump and with the oil containing device. The power conduit apparatus is in electrical communication with the pump. The pump is in fluid communication with a receptacle for the oil, with circumferential threads around the pump threadably engaging a pre-existing threaded hole in the lid of the receptacle. The pump further has a lower vent hole in fluid communication with the receptacle and an upper vent hole in fluid communication with the lower vent hole and the ambient, which allows the pump to be self-venting. The fluid conduit apparatus comprises a tube that is in fluid communication with the pump and interfacing apparatus disposed on the tube and in fluid communication with the oil in the oil containing device.

Abstract: A portable vacuum cleaner for attaching to a can of compressed gas having an output for creating a suction. The cleaner includes a body, a nozzle attached to one end of the body, and a receptacle attached to the other end of the body. The body includes a cap for attaching to the can of compressed gas, and which has a throughbore. The body further includes an external tube that has an intermediate portion, a forward portion, and a rear portion. The receptacle includes a tube and an air permeable bag. The body further includes an internal tube, a valve, and a trigger, which when pressed, opens the valve which allows compressed gas in the can of compressed gas to exit through its output and flow through the internal tube into the rear portion of the external tube and thereby create a suction in the external tube which causes dirt to be drawn through the nozzle, through the external tube, through the tube of the receptacle, and be captured in the air permeable bag.

Abstract: A device for reminding a driver of a vehicle of the expiration date of the associated inspection sticker. The device includes a housing, a microprocessor, a LCD, a calendar chip for generating a date, a clock chip for generating a time, an alarm chip the provides a visible alarm and an audible alarm, a select button that selects either the clock chip, the calendar chip, or the alarm chip, and a value button that sets either the clock chip, the calendar chip, or the alarm chip that was selected by the select button. The device further includes a piece of two-sided tape that is attached to the rear wall of the housing and attaches the housing to the windshield of the vehicle, behind the inspection sticker. The audible and visible alarms have duty cycles with frequencies and durations that are selected by a menu brought up on the LCD display by the select button and set by the value button. The duty cycles are intermittent as opposed to constant for preventing drain on the battery.

The leg takes a step by rotating a shaft, causing the wheel to rotate, causing the slide shaft to pivotally move with the wheel, causing the slide shaft to slide down the follower, causing a plurality of outer roller bearings and an inner roller bearing to roll along a convex periphery of the rail, causing the follower to move along the convex periphery, causing a hip end of the leg to pivot forwardly about an inner roller pin, and causing an uppermost pair of flat rods of the leg to pivot forwardly about their midpoints.

The pole has an extended position for holding in a hand and a retracted position for storage. The pole includes a plurality of tubular telescoping portions, a top cap that threadably engages the top of an upper portion of the plurality of tubular telescoping portions and which allows for selective closing of the upper portion when the pole is used to store valuables therein, and a bottom cap that threadably engages the bottom of a lower portion of the plurality of tubular telescoping portions and which allows for selective closing of the lower portion when the pole is used to store valuables therein. A substrate of the flag is elongated, and originates at the upper portion of the plurality of tubular telescoping portions and terminates in a pair of converging edges that join at a free convex tip.

Abstract: A pair of gloves for replaceably attaching to a garment. The pair of gloves include a first glove for covering one hand of a user, a second glove for covering the other hand of the user, and accessories disposed on at least one of the first glove and the second glove. The first glove includes a strip of hook portion of hook and loop fasteners which selectively mates with either a strip of mating loop portions of the hook and loop fasteners positioned on the garment or directly with the garment itself when it is of a loop type material, and a strip of loop portions of hook and loop fasteners. The second glove includes a strip of hook portions of hook and loop fasteners which selectively mates with either the strip of loop portions of hook and loop fasteners of the first glove, another strip a mating loop portions of the hook and loop fasteners for positioning on the garment, or directly with the garment itself when it is of a loop type material.

Abstract: An engine for powering by water that includes a stator, a rotor rotatably mounted in the stator, and a plurality of blades movably mounted in the rotor. The stator has a throughchamber. The rotor is rotatably mounted in the throughchamber. By virtue of a throughbore in a top plate of the stator being offset from its longitudinal axis, a throughbore in a bottom plate of the stator being offset from its longitudinal axis, and a throughbore in the rotor being along its longitudinal axis, the rotor is offset in the throughchamber and has only one tangential point contacting a circular periphery of throughchamber at any one time as it rotates in the stator. The rotor rotates clockwise in the stator, by steam applying a greater force on a blade of a pair of blades of three blades that define a communicating power chamber that protrudes further than another blade of the pair of blades, by virtue of the fact that it presents a greater surface area exposed to the steam.

Abstract: A self-retracting cart for use in the cargo bay of a sport utility vehicle. When a pair of front wheels are caused to roll on and into the cargo bay by the self-retracting cart for use in the cargo bay of a sport utility vehicle being pushed therein, a push plate is caused to press against the rear edge of the cargo bay and traverse rearwardly causing a pair of arms to traverse rearwardly and cause a pair of spreader brackets to fold which causes a pair of front struts to pivot upwardly against a bottom wall of the basket and retract a pair of intermediate wheels against the pair of side walls of the basket and out of the way and thereby retracting the front wheel assembly.

The attaching apparatus attaches the first portion and the second portion to the sliding door.

Abstract: A modularly stackable centrally ventilated bird house that includes a main portion, a ventilation system, and a base. The main portion includes a lowermost floor, corner posts, lower peripheral perches, a pair of lower internal perches, an uppermost floor, upper peripheral perches, a pair of upper internal perches, and a ceiling. The ventilation system includes a stub venting-tube that together with a throughbore in the lower floor allow the modularly stackable centrally ventilated bird houses to be stacked, four lower compartments, four lower dowels, four upper compartments, four upper dowels, and a vent cap. The main portion further includes a pitched roof that is selectively disposed on the ceiling and which has a pair of gable ends that have vent throughbores therethrough. When the pitched roof is utilized, the vent cap is removed and air exiting the stub venting-tube exits through the vent throughbores in the pair of gable ends of the pitched roof and out into the ambient.
