  • Patent number: 5736968
Abstract: A computer based presentation system allows a presenter to view on a monitor associated with a computer an image prior to its display on a television monitor or projection system to an audience. The system includes a video frame buffer having an input coupled to a video port of the computer for receiving a video signal generated by the computer. The buffer captures and stores in memory a frame carried by the video signal. An output of the video buffer is connected to a video display adapter for continuously converting the stored image frame to a second video signal for transmission to a television monitor for display to an audience. A command to update the video frame buffer is generated by a hand-held remote and transmitted to a serial port of the computer through a photoelectric sensor housed with the video buffer and video display adapter. The computer signals the video buffer through the serial port to update the contents of its memory with the next image frame carried by the video signal.

  • Patent number: 5676482
Abstract: An album for displaying photographs, drawings, objects and the like includes a front cover, a back cover, and a plurality of pages disposed therebetween. Each of the pages includes an attachment means whereby a photograph, drawing or object may be removably attached or affixed to the page. The album substantially comprises machine-washable material with the front and back covers and interior pages sewn together to provide a washable album. Filler material is provided within each of the pages to provide a thicker page and a soft durable album.

  • Patent number: 5668507
Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating noise to be used in evaluation and testing of digital or analog integrated circuits. One or more noise generators fabricated on a substrate generate noise representative of the digital switching noise generated by a digital integrated circuit. The noise generator may be programmable to generate noise over a wide frequency and amplitude range. In addition, a plurality of noise generators may be used to independently and simultaneously generate noise signals with multiple frequencies and amplitudes. A test circuit, either analog or digital, is fabricated on the same substrate. The generated noise signal(s) are generated for use in the evaluation and testing of the effects of the noise on the analog or digital test circuit.
