Abstract: A spiro-based compound containing cyclopentaphenanthrene and fluorene, which is used for an organoelectroluminescent device and an organoelectroluminescent device having the spiro-based compound. The spiro-based compound containing cyclopentaphenanthrene and fluorene can be easily manufactured to have high solubility, high color purity, and good thermal stability. The spiro-based compound containing cyclopentaphenanthrene and fluorene is suitable as a substance for an organic film, in particular, an emission layer of an organoelectroluminescent device. Further, the spiro-based compound containing cyclopentaphenanthrene and fluorene can be used as an organic dye, or an electron material such as a non-linear optical material.

Abstract: A TV card for a computer, comprising a TV signal receiving part receiving a TV signal; a TV signal processing part processing the TV signal from the TV signal receiving part; a TV encoder converting a video signal outputted from the TV signal processing part into a TV video signal suitable for display, and directly transmitting the converted video signal to an output part of a TV; a control program storage part storing a control program controlling the TV signal received from the TV signal receiving part to be displayed on the TV through the TV signal processing part and the TV encoder; and a control part controlling the TV signal to be displayed on the TV through the TV signal processing part and the TV encoder on the basis of the control program when electric power is supplied thereto. With this configuration, it is possible not only to watch TV without booting the computer system but also to work with the computer system while watching TV.
Abstract: In a carriage assembly of a printer employing a movable print head, bosses provided with respective bearing supporting holes, each inner circumferential surface of which has a predetermined radius of curvature, are formed at a side of a carriage, and bearing bushings, each of which has an outer circumferential surface having a different predetermined radius of curvature corresponding to that of the bearing supporting hole, are also formed so as to make a spherical pair with the bearing supporting hole. A shaft through-hole, through which a guiding rod is inserted slidably, is formed through each bearing bushing. The bearing bushing can rotate freely in the bearing supporting hole, and therefore, the axes of the carriage assembly and the guiding rod can be aligned automatically.
Abstract: A security unit installed in a paper currency receiving system in a vending machine at a rear side of a paper currency passage to stop recognized paper currency from being pulled backwards with an external object, the security unit including a holder block having staggered rows of forward protruding plates, a cover plate swinging between a first position where the cover plate is closed with openings thereof coupled to the forward protruding plates to stop recognized paper currency from being pulled backwards, and a second position where the cover plate is disengaged from the forward protruding plates for enabling inserted paper currency to pass.
