The self adjusting belt tightening tool comprises a shaft having a handle on one end and a foot on the other end. A freely swinging grap bar is pivotally mounted on the shaft having an adjustable toe on its end. The toe is adjustable to various positions by means of a removable pin.

    Abstract: A process of making a full life size artificial rock formation of photocopy exactness from a natural rock formation surface is disclosed herein. A plurality of coats of latex is applied over the natural rock surface and allowed to dry thus forming a mask having all the natural cracks and crevices of the natural rock surface. This mask or liner is held in a fiberglass mold and a vacuum is applied to the inner surface of said liner causing all the cracks and crevices to open up. Cement is applied to the outer surface of the liner filling all the cracks and crevices. When the liner is removed the artificial surface resembles the natural rock surface in photocopy exactness.

    Abstract: A hand carried, hand operated portable apparatus for destroying hypodermic needles is disclosed herein comprising a housing having a lever arm pivotably mounted on the housing engaging a shearing blade which travels through an internal channel through the top of the housing. A removable container having a longitudinal groove formed by inwardly disposed wall members is press fitted into the housing. A needle from a hypodermic syringe is placed in the longitudinal groove and pressed into the interior of the container in such a manner that the needle remains inside the container after it is cut from the hypodermic syringe.

    Abstract: An insulated tank jacketing system for storage tank structures of the type used for oil, water, etc., wherein insulated panel systems having upstanding and opposed side flanges are affixed to wire cables or the like on the outside wall of the tank structure by means of a continuous fastener interposed around each cable and positioned between the side flanges of adjacent panels and held in place by having the side flanges of adjacent panels rolled over each other with the fastener being locked within the closure roll thus allowing all component parts of the system, including the cable, to expand and contract relative to each other with no restriction.
