Abstract: A nail holding attachment for a hammer including a generally flat, relatively rigid back plate, a generally flat resiliently flexible holding sheet overlying the back plate, opposite side edge portions of the back plate being folded over into clamping engagement with adjacent side portions of the holding sheet, a notch extending inwardly from an unsecured edge of the holding sheet and converging inwardly to define a pair of resiliently flexible frictional lips for holding engagement with a nail, the back plate being attached to a hammer for holding a nail while starting penetration of the nail.

Abstract: The invention is concerned with an endotracheal tube holder formed of a generally rigid flat bar having a lateral cut-out leaving a reduced flexible neck connecting the remaining bar portions together for relative swinging about an axis through the neck generally perpendicular to the bar, the cut being configured to conformably receive and circumferentially clamp about a received tube, and one side edge of the bar being provided on respective bar portions with a releasably interengageable catch and a latch which automatically snap into interengagement upon relative swinging movement of the bar portions, all without adversely displacing the tube.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for packaging radially expansile articles by passing a succession of such articles in generally coaxially aligned engaging relation with each other through a tubular guide which retains the articles against expansion, sequentially discharging the end most article into a second tubular guide sized to permit limited radial expansion of the received article, extending an engaging member into the second guide to displace each successively discharged article away from the first guide to enable unobstructed discharge and expansion of the next end most article, and engaging the last discharged article to displace it and a predetermined number of previously discharged articles out of the second guide for bagging.
