Abstract: The lifesaving system for buildings of the present invention includes a tubular device having opened crowns or circular radial curved crowns attached to an inside wall of the tubular device, the crowns having flexible vanes or fins through which inverted bell-shaped elements pass, the elements larger in size than the inner size of the crowns, and are braked or slowed as they move downwards, a foam rubber element added at an end of the tubular device, and an annular element having an outside perimeter forming a tapered cone and curved, and which adapts to a top of a user's chest and is positionable under user's armpits.
Abstract: A prescription creation software system implemented on a computer is provided. The prescription creation software system includes a prescription creation screen display to allow the data capture of information including, patient-identifying data, prescribed drug identification data and drug quantification data. The prescription creation software system additionally provides a prescriber with drug formulary information identifying at least one drug as a patient's drug formulary preference, prior to completion of the prescription.
Abstract: A method is disclosed of practicing nasal hygiene comprising the steps of applying to a person's nostril a non-irritating hygienic composition consisting essentially of a product of compounding under homogenizing conditions water, 0.01% to 5% by weight, as chlorine dioxide, of a source of chlorine dioxide; 0.01% to 3% by weight of at least one olfactory stimulant, 0 to 5% by weight of at least one fixative compound less volatile than the olfactory stimulant 0.1 to 2.5% by weight of at least one inorganic salt selected from the group consisting of alkali metal chloride, alkali metal bicarbonate, and alkali metal chlorate; and 0.0002 to 0.006% (as aluminum) by weight of at least one water soluble aluminum compound, provided that the total concentration of inorganic salt is in the range from 0.6% by weight to 2.5% by weight, holding the composition within the nostril for a hygienic holding period, and discharging the composition from the treated nostril.
Abstract: A multi-purpose support plate for use with a boating accessory assembly is disclosed. The multi-purpose support plate includes a first mounting end portion having a first clamping region, a center portion having a top layer, a bottom layer, and a central bore, a second mounting end portion having a second clamping region positioned opposite said first mounting end portion, wherein the first and second clamping regions are in removable engagement with an accessory clamp operatively engaged to a boating structure. The first and second clamping regions are affixed to a boat structure by at least one accessory clamp assembly, the accessory clamp assembly being constructed to fit the mounting end portions at their respective clamping regions by frictional engagement.

Abstract: An adjustable top mount is disclosed including an adjustable head adapted to receive an arm adapter, the adjustable head having teeth separated by spaces, the arm adapter having a support tube adapted to receive an outrigger boom, a knob assembly operatively engaged to the adjustable head, wherein the knob assembly releasably secures the arm adapter in a position of a plurality of positions, a baseplate operatively engaged to the adjustable head, and a tapered pin slidably positioned within a portion of the baseplate, the tapered pin releasably engaged to the teeth and releasably movably positioned in a space of the spaces.
Abstract: My invention is a mixer and dispenser having a dispensing top with an outflow channel, an air vent, and an air vent valve that adjusts the vacuum inside the dispenser; a rotor attached to a battery powered motor; and two switches, one for operating automatically upon pouring and the other manually activated. The vacuum system controls the flow rate during pouring and the constant mixing disperses the ingredients so that the samples dispensed are representative of the original mixture.
Abstract: A lifting arrangement for aircraft fuselages that consists of placing longitudinal vertical or slanted fins or plates on the lower and lateral lower part of the whole fuselage, said fins forming a channel with the underside of the fuselage, including nose, fuselage and tail, open on their lower area. Further adding longitudinal horizontal or laterally slanted fins on the lateral middle or middle-to-low area of the fuselage and with a positive slope up to the nose with said fins arranged in such a way that the upper fins are projected increasingly laterally, and because of this arrangement and their slope up to the nose, the air flow is directed downward and backward.
Abstract: A fuel cell device for providing electrical energy, the fuel cell device comprising a first storage tank for storing a hydrogen-based fuel, a second storage tank for storing an oxidant, a fuel cell portion having an electron input, an electrolysis portion having an electron output, and an electrolyte recovery unit. A method for generating electrical energy using a fuel cell device having a fuel cell portion and an electrolysis portion is also provided.
Abstract: There is disclosed a co-oxidation method and a reagent system of co-oxidation agents for removing from a contaminated zone below the ground surface a water-immiscible organic compound having a density greater than that of water from a contaminated zone below the ground surface, comprising the steps of (a) injecting into the contaminated zone a solution of at least one inorganic permanganate salt, (b) injecting into the zone a cosolvent compatible with the inorganic permanganate salt, (c) causing reaction of the permanganate salt with the water-immiscible organic compound, and (d) extracting co-oxidant from the contaminated zone, thereby diminishing the level of water-immiscible organic compound present in the contaminated zone.
