Abstract: A well head attachment is provided having an elongated casing or housing structure in which the tool string, including the entire cable or wire line supply, is pressurized, the housing structure being arranged to place the interior thereof in communication with the well bore in a manner whereby well pressure is equalized throughout the assembly during all operations, utilizing a unique pressure-tight adjustably articulated riser assembly with off-set pivotal radial connections for connection between the wellhead attachment and the pressurized cable-supply reel, thus the need for lengthy sinker weights, lubricators and stuffing boxes is reduced or eliminated.
Abstract: An improved, heat resistant seal assembly for deformation compensation of rotary kilns having a plurality of integrated seal segments interconnected to form a biased expandable constrictive ring around a rotating drum, the seal segments being attached to a portion of a stationary in-feed or out-feed hopper of a kiln assembly, each seal segment assembly having a plurality of friction wear pads, the seal assembly forming a long lasting expanding and contracting sealing ring that prevents the buildup of material particles and escaping heat and gas from degrading the biasing components or interfering with kiln deformation compensation.
Abstract: A permanent restoration of one-piece cultured marble bathroom countertop/sinks including the insertion of a polymeric bowl within the existing sink without the need to remove or replace existing plumbing. The polymeric bowl insert is secured in place over the existing sink with an expandable drain insert. Seals and adaptive deformable strips, attached to the outer surface of the bowl, provide support and insure a snug and watertight fit within an existing cultured marble countertop/sink.
Abstract: Apparatus and method for preparing cooked crabs for fast separation of lump crab meat from shell by a manual cleaving action is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a cutting board, having a cleaving means for severing a crab body in three easy steps. The cleaving means is used to sever the crab body along three imaginary lines as directed by instructional illustrations located on the cutting board. The cleaving means severs the crab body from the under side into three portions along diagonal imaginary lines extending between the front and rear of the crab. A third cut is made centrally along the central portion but does not cut through the upper shell of the crab thereby releasing the breastplate of crab with the lump crabmeat attached thereto for easy removal.
Abstract: An in-tubing or casing fracture packing assembly including a running tool, HDR sub assembly, a displaceable flow diversion valve by which a filter media slurry is pumped down the annulus of the assembly until a gravel pack is achieved. The HDR running tool allows the bottom hole assembly to be deployed without fear of premature release due to loads or manipulation during deployment, but allows for easy detachment once pumping is completed. An equalizing vent in the HDR sub assembly maintains equal pressure internally and externally. The flow diversion valve is autonomously tripped when the media has been properly placed, providing a positive indication at the surface. A portion of the assembly is removed and the packing assembly remains within the well bore after pumping is completed. An isolation seal is then placed on the sealing mandrel of the assembly and isolated to the tubing or casing wall.
Abstract: A sex aid apparatus is disclosed utilizing an extended geometrical shaped handle for interchangeable attachment to intra-vaginal or anal penetration appliances and the manual manipulation thereof.
Abstract: A waste cement collection apparatus utilizing a porous disposable bulk bag for collecting waste cement removed as a result of wash-out of the discharge chute of a cement mixer truck after a cement delivery, the apparatus further having a method for filtering, collecting, and holding cement contaminated waste fluids for recovery and disposal. A service process is also described for the provision and recovery of the collection apparatus and the transport and disposition of the waste materials.
Abstract: A three dimensional, animal-shaped archery target molded of polyurethane foam in two members consisting of a body member and a head member. The body member having a cavity therein for containing a replaceable target insert retained in place by a replaceable, sliding foam panel conforming externally to the shape of the animal located on one or both sides of the target insert thereby fully concealing the insert. A repairable clay core insert or various replaceable target inserts may be used including foam or packed cotton.
Abstract: A power efficient, acoustical Helmholtz resonator foghorn including a plurality of electrical emitters, some of which are redundant, arrayed at one end of a blocked tube with a plurality of exhaust ports located therein surrounded by a standoff tubular member. The foghorn tuned to provide a high pitch thus providing a compact horn having an acoustical path capable of producing an exceptional wavelength in a generally concentric horizontal sound propagation the horn configurable for use as either a one-half mile or two mile marine navigational aid for offshore structures, buoys, and the like.
Abstract: A relatively light weight wire-line conveyance mechanism capable of sustained high pressure incorporated into a wire-line riser set-up and configured to allow multiple radial bends without sheaves. The conveyance mechanism includes a tubular body structure capable of being pressurized defining a radial arc of between 0 and 180 degree having a threaded coupling at each end for connection to riser tubular joints. One embodiment discloses a field formable cable conveyor that may take a variety of shapes. The tubular body contains a series of connected tubular blocks or sleeves, each of which includes a longitudinal bore and a roller or ball bearing assembly therein defining a wire-line pathway for receiving a wire-line that passes through each of said tubular blocks, fully contained therein.
Abstract: A relatively light weight radial wire-line conveyance mechanism capable of sustained high pressure incorporated into a wire-line riser set-up and configured to allow multiple radial bends without sheaves. The conveyance mechanism includes a segmented tubular body structure capable of being pressurized and defining a radial arc of between 0 and 180 degree having a threaded coupling at each end for connection to riser tubular joints. The tubular body contains a series of connected tubular segments, each of which includes a longitudinal bore and a roller or ball assembly therein defining a pressurized wire-line pathway for receiving wire-line that passes through each of the tubular segments.
Abstract: A fully integrated, self-contained, retrieving trailer hitch for use in coupling heavy laden trailers to large SUV's and RV's. The self-contained module is capable of being plugged directly into a vehicle tow bar hitch receiver and connected to the vehicle's electrical power supply. The module-retrieving hitch contains an integral retracting take-up reel with a cable extending through the docking housing and connected to an extendable docking guide member. The docking member which may be double reeved and adapted for removable connection to ball hitch assemblies generally used for insertion within vehicle tow bar receivers for coupling to a trailer hitch member. The docking guide member automatically locks the guide member within the docking housing upon docking. An interlock is provided for unlocking the docking member.
Abstract: A down-hole tool guide is disclosed for deflecting various down-hole tools having a tendency to hang or bind in uncased bore holes. The down-hole tool guide or ball guide assembly, being adaptive to the down-hole tools, extends forwardly there from and includes an eccentric rotatable ball and high-pressure jets. In cases where the guide is used to guide casing, the ball guide assembly is constructed from a drillable material thereby allowing the hole bore to be extended beyond the last set casing depth without side deviation from the original bore.
