Abstract: A modular safety lighting system for highway barriers has a light fixture connected between two sections of flexible fluid tight conduit containing four conductors. A male connector is connected to one end of the conduit and conductors and a female connector is connected to the other end of the conduit and conductors. In a first module the light fixture is connected to a first pair of conductors and in a second module the light fixture is connected to a second pair of the conductors. The modules have a length equal to the length of the barrier on which they are to be mounted and are connected alternately in series to illuminate the highway barrier. Suitable power connection modules are provided to connect the system to a standard utility power pole.
Abstract: A cup, can and bottle holder that may be easily cliped over the edge of stadium and sports arena seats is shown. The holder locks in place to hold a spectator's drink conveniently next to him without spilling. The cup holder is crushable to prevent accidental injury.
Abstract: A jack handle and adapter bar are shown which permit conventional automotive hydraulic floor jacks to be used to jack up low clearance cars. Full control is obtained without damage to or interference from the car skirt or fairing panels.
Abstract: A spring motor having a large number of flat spiral wound springs connected in series is shown which allows storage of large amounts of energy in a small amount of cubic space. Only a small force is required for full wind up of the assembly. Energy can be simultaneously stored and withdrawn.
Abstract: A pail having a bail pivotally mounted adjacent the open top that will automatically tilt over on its side and fill with liquid when dropped into a body of liquid is shown. The full pail may be retrieved from the body of liquid by attaching a line to the pivotally mounted bail. A weight of predetermined size attached to the lip of the pail provides the destabilizing effect necessary to tilt the pail but does not substantially affect the full or empty stability of the pail out of the body of liquid.
Abstract: A method of making a multiple piece candlestick having the appearance of a solid candlestick is shown. The candlestick has a reverse double taper candle well for securely holding a candle in a precise vertical position.
Abstract: A four wheeled powered hand truck for transporting logs in confined spaces over rough and inclined terrain is shown. A hand fork assembly is pivotally mounted on the front end of the powered hand truck adapted to move from a vertical load/unload position to a reclined load carrying position. A gasoline engine, transmission, clutch, differential, safety latch and controls are shown.
