  • Patent number: 7113915
Abstract: A system for managing a project being a plurality of jobs including construction jobs wherein some of the jobs don't require completion of other jobs and remaining jobs require completion of at least one of the independent jobs and/or completion of other jobs in the plurality of jobs. The system separates jobs into lists according to their dependency on other jobs and assigns manpower according to expense, expressed as man days, for completing the job withoin a list period. The system is preferably implemented in conjunction with a panoramic camera and computer. One section of the computer screen displays a 360° field of view of the project. Another section displays a table showing the interrelationship of the jobs. Alpha-numeric indicia, entered by a mouse/keyboard at job locations on the image section of the screen are indexed to jobs scheduled in the table which is entered in the text section of the screen.

  • Patent number: 7107122
Abstract: An apparatus for enabling a user to follow a detailed schedule for taking a plurality of medicines/supplemdents at various times. The apparatus includes a set of containers, one for each medicine, a release mechanism for each container and a computer programmed to open any one of its containers at a time according to the schedule of events. An event is defined as taking of a dosage at a scheduled time. An “alert” signal alerts the user to prepare for each event. A “take” signal indicates that the dosage has actually been taken, A warning signal; is activated after a ‘take period indicating that the user has not taken his dosage. A form is initally filled out by the user listing “events” according to the schedule. Events shown on the screen are underlined as they occur and the daily form with underlines of executed events is saved as a history with later evealuation. A “fresh” form (without uderlines) is programmed to appear with the days date to start the next day's program.

  • Patent number: 6968691
Abstract: A turbine system including a turbine and a reservoir for working fluid and a turbine. the reservoir is closed so that the workng fluid is heatable up to the critical temperature of the working fluid. An exit pump pumps superheated working fluid from the reservoir onto the impellers in the turbine. An entry pump pumps working fluid from the turbine back to the reservoir. The reservoir is closed (gas tight) permitting heating the working fluid in the reservoir up to the crtical temperature and criical pressure of the working fluid. The exit and entry pumps are coupled together and arrnged such that the rate at which flid enters the reservoir equals the rate that the working fluid leaves the reservoir. By raising the working fluid to in the reservoir in the liquid stae, loss of energy of vaporization is substantially aboided. By maintaining equal rates of charrge and discharge of fluid into and out of the reservoir, loss of energy due to compresion is avoided.

  • Patent number: 6962662
Abstract: A process for removing metal sulfates from dilute aqueous solutions in which a conductivity control solution is injected into the stream. The solution is selected to increase the conductivity of the stream to a value wherein the ion state of each metal is then modified by passing the stream between electrodes of each pair of an array of pairs of electrodes. A voltage is imposed across each pair of electrodes, selected according to a target ion state for each of the various contaminants. The pH of the stream is then increased to a value where precipitate of metal hydroxide of the metal sulfates are formed. The precipitated metal hydroxide is then removed from the stream leaving a reduced amount of sulfate ions.
