Abstract: A two-ply paper-to-paper composite material having insulating properties and a method for its manufacture wherein the composite includes a pair of paper sheets, at least one of which has been treated to make it moisture-proof and grease-proof wherein the sheets are selectively bonded directly to the other to define air pockets therebetween wherein the bond is established by an alkali metal silicate adhesive.
Abstract: A flow conditioner comprising an apertured circular plate to be placed in a conduit in an orientation substantially perpendicular to the axis of the conduit. The apertures are circular and are arranged in a plurality of radially spaced circular arrays around a central aperture. The center of the central aperture and the centers of the circular arrays coincide with the center of the circular plate. The apertures in each circular array are equally spaced apart around the center of the plate, and all the apertures in any one circular array are of substantially the same diameter. The size and number of apertures are such that the impedance to flow presented by the plate increases with the radius on which a given array of apertures is arranged.

Abstract: The tilt switch/incline indicator of the invention consists of a first support member that is connected to the game cabinet in a known orientation. A second member is pivotably supported on the first member and can be fixed relative thereto at angles corresponding to the desired angle of incline of the playfield. The second member supports a pendulum-type tilt switch similar to that used in the prior art. The pendulum acts like a plumb line to give a visual indication to the game operator that the playfield is at the desired angle set at the second member by observing when the pendulum is centered relative to the contact. The mechanism of the invention uses the tilt switch as the level indicator such that the playfield can be positioned at a known angle without requiring a separate level indicator or the recalibration to the tilt switch.
Abstract: The sensor assembly includes a sensor tube in communication with the inner tank. A flush line extending from the liquid cryogen fill line is connected to the sensor tube at a three-way valve. The three way valve also connects the sensor tube to a pressure transducer. During normal operation, the sensor tube is in communication with the pressure transducer such that the level of liquid in the dewar can be monitored. When the liquid level falls below a predetermined level, the pressure transducer activates the three-way valve to connect the sensor tube to the flush line and opens a solenoid located in the fill line. As the cryogen liquid enters the fill line, a portion of it is diverted through the flush line, is vaporized and is passed through the sensor tube. The relatively warm gas flow in the sensor tube prevents the formation of ice and eliminates the problems associated therewith.
