Abstract: The present invention is generally directed to tapes designed for use in conjunction with lighter-than-air vehicles, platforms or other inflated structures. In one embodiment, the present invention is directed to conductive seam cover tape that can be, for example, used to protect and/or cover one or more seams in a lighter-than-air vehicle, platform or other inflated structure. In another embodiment, the present invention is directed to a conductive seam cover tape that can be, for example, used to protect and/or cover fabric panels or sections that are used to form lighter-than-air vehicles, platforms or other inflated structures that are in, one instance, designed for deployment at high altitudes.

Abstract: Various laminate structures and methods of making laminate structures are provided. In one embodiment, a laminate structure includes a base layer, a metallized layer comprising an electronic/embedded device which is adhered to the base layer. A coating layer which is adhered to the conductive layer, and a non-metallic dichroic layer adhered to the coating layer. In another embodiment, the non-metallic dichroic layer directly contacts the electronic/embedded devices of the conductive layer. The laminate structures herein can be used in the hull of the air vehicles to communicate with satellites and ground based receiving stations, for example. The electronic/embedded devices of the laminate structures provide a low weight solution to transmitting and receiving data within an air vehicle.

Abstract: A system for providing on-line creation of printable products such as, announcements, banners, business cards, calendars, greeting cards, certificates, craft cards, envelopes, gift tags, invitations, labels, message cards, origami, postcards, posters, stationary, stickers, and other social expression products. The printable products are selectable from a list, and modifiable on-line to provide a user-customized product. The customized printable product may be printed at the user's local printer or stored in a file for later access. Modifications to the printable product include modification of text elements (e.g., formatting, such as font, point size, color, and alignment), and graphical elements. A plug-in is downloaded to a user's PC to enhance the functionality of the user's browser to customize and print the printable product.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a bubble package which allows a product to be displayed independently standing alone or hanging from a bracket/shelf, and also provides the ability to separate the paper and plastic portions of the package into at least two separate environmentally recycled portions. The paper based portion of the package operates as a display card and/or as a stiffener. The sides of the one or more display cards are bonded to one another to enclose the product within the plastic and prevent tampering with the product. The plastic portion, in addition to containing and displaying the product therein, optionally incorporates a base near the bottom of the package. The base protrudes from the bottom of the package and secures back onto the plastic portion via a securing mechanism. This arrangement allows the package to stand independent. Optionally, a corrugated plastic insert can be used to provide additional support to the unit.

Abstract: Methods and systems for efficient network and device-based monitoring and response to municipality functions, operations, infrastructure and utilities uses automated notifications of municipal agents or employees of municipal operations information. Notifications are delivered according to pre-defined rules, a hierarchical structure of categories to organize alerts and information in a logical order of critical importance and delivered by information systems within the municipality. A user interface is utilized to change the hierarchy, view alert information, and select issues for responsive action.

Abstract: An adjustable card pocket having a back panel for attachment to a shelf or a mating panel and two half card pockets that are operatively attached to the back panel for holding and displaying greeting cards of varying width dimensions. The back panel contains four pocket engagement slots to engage the two pocket engagement tabs on each half card pocket. The back panel further contains a six adjustment slots designed to receive the one adjustment tab located on each of the half card pockets. The adjustment tabs can be inserted into one of three adjustment slots located on each side of the back panel allowing the pocket to contain cards of different width dimensions. The width of the pocket can be adjusted by applying a slightly outward force to each half card pocket to disengage the adjustment tabs from the adjustment slots and then slidably moving the half card pockets in either an inward or outward direction and re-engaging the adjustment tabs with another set of adjustment slots.

Abstract: A low profile miniature speaker configured for use in greeting cards such as sound generating greeting cards and other novelties. The thickness of the speaker is minimized while maintaining the sound quality and increasing strength. The speaker magnet is counter-sunk into the housing of the speaker, thereby decreasing overall thickness. The speaker is configured with concentric ribs that radiate outward from the center of the circular speaker. The ribs reinforce the plastic housing and increase the structural strength of the speaker.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to structures and methods for constructing a paved structure. Some embodiments relate to improved, simplified and/or lightweight means for the construction of such structures. Some embodiments relate to means for constructing a paved area having a shelf for vertically supporting bricks. Furthermore, in some embodiments the shelf can be in a raised relation to a substrate. Some embodiments may also include structures that facilitate drainage of liquids from a surface of the paved structure.

Abstract: Greeting card package constructs and containers for the retail packaging and sale of sets of greeting cards with envelopes, including a frame box structure configured to hold a plurality or set of greeting cards and having openings in front and back panels to make at least two or more pages of a greeting card in the package visible, and substantially reducing total material requirements for the package. The package structure includes four sides and four back flanges to hold the greeting cards in place. One embodiment of the disclosure is capable of holding one set of identical greeting cards. Another embodiment is capable of holding two side-by-side sets of separate identical greeting cards. The package is wrapped in cellophane to preserve both the front and inside views of the greeting card.

Abstract: A shotgun gas exchanger comprising a gas exchanger tube for connectively engaging with a shotgun barrel and a choke disposed in the gas exchanger having longitudinal axial channels on the exterior surface thereof, such that gas from the shotgun barrel flows through the longitudinal axial channels and gathers in front of the muzzle end of the choke to retard the release of pellets from a wadding cup exiting the muzzle.

Abstract: A frame member fastening device and method of manufacture provides a single configuration fastening device which can be used singly in connection with a frame member, or which can be combined with another identical fastening device to form a fastening device assembly for use with frame members of different internal widths, by interlocking two identical fastening devices in an opposed, base-to-base assembly configuration. The fastening device is manufactured in a progressive metal forming process with successive stages in which the features of the device are formed.
