Abstract: A computer accessory tray assembly adapted for mounting to a chair. The tray assembly includes individual left and right mouse trays mounted by horizontal arms to respective arms of the chair. A keyboard tray is engageable with the left and right mouse trays to prevent lateral movement of the keyboard tray, but allows the keyboard tray to be lifted up from engagement with both mouse trays and moved out of the entry/exit position of the chair so that the user can have access to the chair. When removed from engagement from both mouse trays, the keyboard tray can be stowed by hanging it from either of the mouse trays. The mouse trays are adjustable vertically, forwards and backwards, and can be titled to provide ergonomic access to a mouse resting on either mouse tray.

Abstract: A medical seal dispenser having a container molded of plastic and having clamshell portions hinged together. The clamshell portions of the container can be locked together when in a closed position. One clamshell portion includes a core holder for holding a roll of foil-type medical seals removably attached to a carrier strip. During dispensing of a medical seal, the carrier strip is pulled so that it is unrolled from the roll and is routed over an exit hump of the dispenser. The exit hump imparts a curl to the metal foil seal that is opposite that which was incurred when rolled on the roll, thereby straightening the foil seal.

Abstract: A concrete revetment block having interlocking arms and sockets and an array of vegetation holes. Two arms and two sockets are formed in the block to provide interlocking capabilities with neighbor blocks of a mat. One arm of the block is constructed with a partial thickness and one socket is constructed with a partial depth, thereby providing vertical interlocking capabilities with the neighbor blocks. An array of holes is formed through the block to allow vegetation to grow therethrough. Various holes are located in the block to allow easy grasping of the block by a workman for lifting the same. The holes are formed in the core square of the block, with respective diameters related to the thickness of the block to maximize the hydraulic stability of the block.

Abstract: A fixture is disclosed for holding a container therein and for allowing rotation of the container for dispensing a fluid therefrom. The fixture can be mounted to a hand cart for transport of the container and for tilting the container so that the liquid can be dispensed therefrom. The tray can be pivotally mounted such that when pivoted and released, the tray automatically returns to a rest position.

Abstract: A database used by a consumer reporting agency for storing application information data in association with transaction and experience information. A consumer applying for credit submits personal and financial information either verbally or by filling out a form. The application information data submitted verbally or by a form is submitted by an institution along with a request for a credit report on the consumer. The consumer reporting agency receives the request and stores the application information separately from the transaction and experience information. Each time an institution submits application information data related to the consumer, the data is accumulated in successive records and maintained. In response to a request for a report on a consumer, the consumer reporting agency forwards a response based on the application records accumulated.

Abstract: An air shield for a videoscope imager to prevent obscuring of the optical input by body liquids and tissue particles. The imager is extended through a tube carrying a pressurized gas so that when the gas escapes from the end of the tube, it generates an air stream envelope around the optical input of the imager and prevents liquids and particles directed toward the optical input from contacting the optical input. The pressurized gas flows continuously during the medical or dental procedure to maintain a constant resistance to liquids and matter directed to the optical input of the imager.

Abstract: An efficient flash evaporation water purification system located at a hydrocarbon well site. An internal combustion engine uses hydrocarbon fuel from the well and drives a pump to pressurize production water from the well. The engine also generates thermal energy used to preheat the production water. An electrical generator is also driven by the engine to produce electrical power for the water purification system, as well as produce AC power for off-site consumers.

Abstract: A medical seal dispenser having a container molded of plastic and having clamshell portions hinged together. The core holder includes speed bumps that are raised or domed protrusions on the core holder to provide rolling friction to the roll of medical seals during dispensing. Abstract: An ornamental hanger constructed with a soft ornamental figure having a bottom portion weighted with a deformable weight so that if the ornamental hanger is pulled off a mantle, or the like, it will not injure a person. The top portion of the figure is filled with a light weight filler to maintain the shape of the figure. The ornamental hanger includes an adjustable strap so that items can be suspended therefrom at different distances.

Abstract: A clutch operable with equipment, including a winch of the type having a planetary gear reduction assembly for driving a cable drum. The planetary gear assembly includes a ring gear which, when allowed to rotate, effectively disconnects the drive motor from the cable drum. When the ring gear is fixed against rotation, the drive motor can drive the cable drum to wind or unwind the cable therefrom. A bistable solenoid is employed so that a plunger thereof is engageable with the ring gear to either allow rotation or prevent rotation, and thus engage or disengage the clutch. The bistable solenoid does not require electrical power when the plunger is in either stable position, thereby conserving electrical energy.

Abstract: An expansion nozzle adapted for use in high pressure, high temperature conditions. The expansion nozzle uses spring compression to operate under constant pressure conditions to efficiently flash hot water into steam. A motor can be employed to automatically adjust the extent of compression of the spring during the flashing operation, to thereby adjust the pressure of the liquid applied to the nozzle. In addition, the expansion nozzle can be equipped with a mechanism to allow cleaning or lapping of the orifice surfaces without disassembly of the expansion nozzle assembly.

Abstract: A pumping system in which a pump (5) is controlled by a programmed controller (22) in response to input signals from an inlet pressure transducer (3) and an outlet pressure transducer (15) and in certain circumstances inputs from various flow sensors (4,19). The controller (22) can be programmed to allow the pump (5) to prematurely operate before an outlet pressure reaches a low pressure threshold, when usage of the liquid is high. The controller (22) can be programmed to detect a lack of prime of the pump (5), to restore prime once the pump (5) has lost prime, and to prevent successive on/off pump cycles when the outlet flow is continuous and at a moderate or low level.

Abstract: A mail box having a depository vault overlying a secure compartment. A mail deposit platform and a flag door are independently rotatable with respect to each other to open and close a mail deposit opening in the depository vault. The mail deposit platform receives mail in the depository vault. If the mail placed on the mail platform is incoming mail, the platform is rotated to transfer the incoming mail to the underlying secure compartment, as well as to close the mail deposit opening. If the mail placed on the platform is outgoing mail, the flag door is rotated to close the mail deposit opening and to provide an indication to the postman that the mail is to be picked up and delivered to the destination.

Abstract: A clutch mechanism (75) for use with a machine to disengage the machine until normal operation thereof is commenced. The clutch mechanism (75) includes a clutch engaging member (130) movable into engagement with a notch (77) of the ring gear (76) of a planetary gear stage (70) to engage the clutch, and movable out of engagement with the ring gear (76) to disengage the clutch mechanism (75). The clutch engaging member (130) is spring biased to a position in which the clutch mechanism is engaged. A manually-operated handle (120) moves the clutch engaging member (130) via a link (128) and clutch actuator (122) from a clutch engaging position to a clutch disengaging position.

Abstract: A filter trap into which waste water can be dumped to separate particulate matter from the water. A sensor senses when the liquid level in the filter trap rises above a predetermined level, and triggers an alarm to indicate the filter basket is full of particulate matter and must be removed to dispose of the contents. The withdrawal of the filter basket from the filter trap causes the inlet thereto to automatically close so that waste water cannot be dumped into the filter trap when the filter basket has been removed. A sensor senses when the filter basket has been removed to provide a visual indication thereof.

Abstract: A reinstatement cutting machine having an air tube formed therethrough for carrying pressurized air to drive a cutting tool. The air tube is insulated to prevent condensation within the reinstatement cutting machine due to temperature changes caused by the pressurized air passing through the air tube. In a preferred embodiment, the air tube is insulated with a tubular member constructed of an insulating material.

Abstract: A rotatable tissue removing instrument having a tissue engaging member. The tissue engaging member includes one or more prongs or barbs, or both, which grab the strands of granulation tissue and cause the tissue to be wrapped around the tissue engaging member. The granulation tissue continues to be wrapped around the tissue engaging member until pulled free from both the tooth and the bone.
