  • Patent number: 8284077
Abstract: An ion-dielectric touch sensor detects a touching operation applied by a touching object thereto. The ion-dielectric touch sensor includes a base board, a first electrode, a second electrode, and a dielectric layer. The base board forms an electrode mounting surface on which the first and second electrodes are arranged in such a way that the second electrode is closed to but spaced from the first electrode. The dielectric layer is coated on the electrode mounting surface of the base board and encloses the first and second electrodes. When the touching object touches the dielectric layer of the ion-dielectric touch sensor, a variation of the electrical resistance between the first and second electrodes is caused. • Patent number: 8283966
Abstract: An integrator circuit is provided in the present invention, which utilizes a first capacitor and a first switching unit to sample an input signal and carries out distribution of charges between the first capacitor and a second capacitor. The second capacitor is larger than the first capacitor in capacitance. The integrator circuit transmits the charges stored in the second capacitor to a node of the first capacitor which is coupled to a ground previously. Accordingly, a direct current voltage level of the first capacitor may increase, facilitating an increase in a direct current voltage level at the second capacitor. Thereby, the accuracy and linearity of the integrator circuit may improve.

  • Patent number: 8282535
Abstract: A treadmill roller structure comprises a motor, a gear set and a case. The motor is an out-runner motor. The power output section of the motor rotates about stationary spindle. The rotary power output section is engaged to the gear set, while the gear set is in turn engaged to the case, thus allowing the case to rotate relatively to the spindle of the motor as well. The roller structure does not require a driving belt to transfer power from the motor to the roller, thus reduces the power loss due to frictional force during power transfer through belt driving, which enhances the performance of the motor and offers a space-saving feature. In addition, the instant disclosure also provides a treadmill.

  • Patent number: 8282176
Abstract: A locking mechanism of a slide assembly is connected between a first rail and a second rail, and includes a top, a locking member, a release member and a resilient member. The stop is connected to the first rail and the locking member is pivotably connected to the second rail. The release member has a window to accommodate the locking member. The window includes an inclined surface which is located corresponding to the locking member. The resilient member contacts between the locking member and the inside of the window to keep the locking member to be located corresponding to the stop. When the second rail is retracted relative to the first rail, the locking member is engaged with the stop. When the operation portion of the release member is pulled outward, the locking member is guided by the inclined surface and pivoted toward another direction to disengage from the stop.

  • Patent number: 8283838
Abstract: A piezoelectric linear motor for providing enhanced displacement using a dome-shaped piezoelectric ceramic is provided. The piezoelectric linear motor includes a dome-shaped piezoelectric ceramic (100) processed such that different electrodes are formed on opposite surfaces of the piezoelectric ceramic. A vibration shaft (200) is fixed to a first surface of the piezoelectric ceramic so that the vibration shaft moves in conjunction with displacement of the piezoelectric ceramic. A movable element (300) is linearly driven through friction with the vibration shaft while coming into contact with the vibration shaft. The movable element moves in a movement direction of the vibration shaft if the inertial force of the movable element is less than the frictional force between the movable element and the vibration shaft when the vibration shaft moves. According to the present invention, the piezoelectric ceramic is formed in a dome shape, so that movement displacement is enhanced.
