Abstract: An improved water closet flushing system utilizing a diaphragm flush valve having a fluid flow control means positioned to receive the fluid discharged from the diaphragm flush valve prior to fluid entering the water closet bowl.
Abstract: A wrench assembly including a drive head and an attached socket for engaging a bolt or nut. When the drive head turns, the socket and any engaged threaded member will also rotate. A hydraulic motor and cylinder are also included. The hydraulic motor and cylinder rotate the drive head and socket independently of each other. Typically, the hydraulic motor will rotate the drive head faster than the cylinder but at lower torques. Thus, the hydraulic motor will spin the threaded member down until it is snug, and then the hydraulic cylinder will tighten the threaded member to the desired torque. Alternatively, the hydraulic cylinder may break the threaded member out when it is tight. The hydraulic motor will then spin the loosened threaded member out. Finally, the wrench assembly includes a hydraulic fluid distribution system, including one or more valves that regulate hydraulic fluid flow through the wrench assembly.
Abstract: An improved foldable, portable stadium seat providing greater support, comfort, stability, and durability through the use of a forward, downward sloping cushioned seat formed in part by a stiff tubular frame having a U-shaped section and two vertically extending straight sections to which is pivoted mounted to a backrest frame of a backrest at a position permitting the backrest frame to contact the bleacher when the backrest is in its vertical most position.
Abstract: The invention involves the demulsification and liquefaction of hydrocarbon based sludges. A demulsifier and a liquefaction agent and methods of using the same are disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, the demulsifier contains a salt of DDBSA, polypropylene glycol, and citrene. In a preferred embodiment, the liquefaction agent contains a glycol ether and sodium silicate. In another preferred embodiment, the liquefaction agent contains a glycol ether and citrene. In preferred practice, the sludge is treated with the liquefaction agent, circulated, treated with the demulsifier, and circulated further. An object of the invention is to provide a hydrocarbon based sludge that is sufficiently liquefied to be pumped and which is sufficiently demulsified to allow the waters, oils, and solids in the sludge to separate.
Abstract: A runner apparatus is disclosed herein that is used alone or in combination with or incorporated into an existing torque wrench. The runner apparatus has a motor positioned offset from end operatively engaging a threaded member so that the runner apparatus or runner apparatus-torque wrench combination has a profile height that allows it to be positioned in confined spaces that are relatively small.

Abstract: A device for assisting childbirth, preferably made of separate sheets of loosely knitted polypropylene loops. Each sheet has a control end, an opposite mouth end, and a pair of insertion arms attached to the edges of the sheets. The insertion arms of each sheet slidingly engage one another. Thus, one sheet may be inserted between the fetal head and the birth canal wall until it is properly placed about the fetal head. The second sheet can then engage the first sheet, sliding into position around the fetal head as well, thereby forming an elongated gripping member completely encircling the fetal head. A drawstring may be provided to assist in initiating traction. Thereafter, pulling on the gripping member will cause the loops to lengthen longitudinally and compress in their transverse dimension, causing the circumference of the gripping member to decrease and thereby grip the fetal head.
