Abstract: The electronic signaling system comprises a base unit including an audio media player for reproducing a recorded audio signal from an inserted recorded medium, and an audio output stage for producing an audio output responsive to the occurrence of a trigger signal. A remote triggering device, such as a doorbell, includes a signal generator for communicating energy from the triggering device to the base unit. A receiving device in the base unit is provided for intercepting the energy communicated from the triggering device for reproducing the recorded audio signal. The medium may be a replaceable medium, permitting the user to select, from a variety of sound recordings, which recording is to be played back when a visitor or a guest pushes the doorbell. The replaceable medium may be recordable by a user. The audio player is preferably a player capable of reproducing sound patterns from integrated circuits containing encoded or non-encoded sound program information.
Abstract: An aqueous nasal spray formulation contains a vitamin component, a mineral component, a aloe vera in a water based solvent. The vitamin component contains Vitamin C, Rose Hips, Acerola, Lemon Bioflavanoids, Hesperidin, Rustin and Vitamin B.sub.6. The mineral component contains potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc and manganese. In the formulation, the vitamin component accounts for 25-40% by volume of the formulation, the mineral component is from 11-12% by volume and the aloe vera is from 8-12% by volume of the formulation.
Abstract: An artificial nail is made from a liquid methacrylate monomer, a powdered acrylic or methacrylate polymer, and a catalyst including an activator and an accelerator. A pigment is mixed with the powder so the resultant nail has the glossy, opaque appearance expected from a conventionally applied nail polish. The pigment is present in the range of 1.5-15% by weight of the powder and exhibits a color having a wavelength of 4000-7000 Angstroms.
Abstract: The device effectively, efficiently, conveniently, and securely supports headrails of a type having a U-shaped cross section with first and second sidewalls joined by a connecting rear wall, the free ends of the sidewalls projecting inwardly to define first and second projections, respectively. The device comprises a selectively expandable and collapsible support having a top surface, a first side, a second side opposite the first side, a support surface on both the first and second sides, and may be fixed to a ceiling or wall. Structurally, the support comprises: a locking or latching mechanism for locking the support in an expanded condition in which the first and second projections at the free ends of the headrail sidewalls engage the support surfaces, and for releasing the expanded condition to place the support in a collapsed condition in which the spacing between the first and second support surfaces is insufficient to support both first and second projections at the free ends of the headrail sidewalls.
Abstract: The invention is a method for determining anemobaroclinometric parameters on board an aircraft. The air speed vector (Vp), the static pressure (Ps), and the impact temperature (Ti)are measured, and the other parameters are calculated on the basis of the aforementioned measurements.
