Abstract: Disclosed are a pixel, a pixel array, and an image sensor including the pixel array. The pixel includes a first photo-sensing unit to detect a visible light and an IR, and a second photo-sensing unit provided at one side of the first photo-sensing unit to detect a light in which the IR is blocked.

Abstract: A solar cell unit is disclosed, wherein the solar cell module includes a solar cell unit converting light from the sun to a DC voltage and outputting the converted DC voltage; an inverting unit inverting the outputted DC voltage to an AC voltage; and an inverting outdoor unit protecting the inverting unit from outdoor space, wherein the inverting outdoor unit includes: a heat emitting unit emitting heat generated from the inverting outdoor unit or the inverting unit; and a thermal expansion protecting unit keeping temperature equilibrium between the inverting unit and the inverting outdoor unit.
Abstract: Compounds originally isolated from marine fungi are useful as antifouling (antibacterial and/or anti-larval settlement) agents. The compounds are 3-chloro-2,5-dihydroxy benzyl alcohol, cyclo-(Pro-Phe),3-methyl-N-(2-phenylethyl) butanamide, and succinic acid. The compounds are non-toxic or low-toxic. They can be used alone or in combination, as active ingredients for making environment-friendly antifouling formulations/coatings.

Abstract: Provided are a nonvolatile memory device, a method of manufacturing the nonvolatile memory device, and a method of manufacturing a flat panel display device provided therein with the nonvolatile memory device. According to an embodiment, an amorphous silicon layer is formed on a substrate, and then annealed by using an Excimer laser to form a crystallized silicon layer. A nitrogen plasma treatment is performed for the crystallized silicon layer to planarize an upper surface of the crystallized silicon layer. An ONO layer is formed on the nitrogen plasma-treated crystallized silicon layer. A metal layer is formed on the ONO layer. The metal layer, the ONO layer and the nitrogen plasma-treated crystallized silicon layer are patterned.
