  • Patent number: 6623039
Abstract: A multi-purpose card includes a combination of a plurality of coupons detachably cut into the redemption card, a bar code imprinted onto the redemption card, integrated circuit chips, and/or a scratch-off foil overlying an offer or information printed on the card. The multi-purpose card may be housed integrally in a promotional mailer in the form of a two-piece in one post card. The card is created and defined within the promotional mailer by score lines intermittently cut through a top layer, base layer and plastic film of the mailer in a manner to securely maintain the card in place until forcibly removed.

  • Patent number: 6595862
Abstract: A billiards ball rack includes a frame having a plurality of side walls forming an opening. A plate is attached to a top surface of the frame, and includes inwardly and downwardly directed inclined surfaces for engaging an outer periphery of a group of billiards balls to compact the billiards balls into a desired configuration. The inclined surfaces define a cut-out portion of the plate, typically a triangle or diamond. The rack includes lifting levers pivotally attached to two side walls of the triangular frame. When a handle segment of the lever is grasped and pulled upward, a lower foot segment pivots and extends below a base of the frame to lift the frame from the playing surface, leaving the compacted billiards balls in the desired configuration on the billiard table.

  • Patent number: 6456481
Abstract: An integrated electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter capacitor and DC blocking capacitor is provided in a single monolithic casing of ceramic dielectric material. First and second sets of electrode plates are disposed within the monolithic casing to form the DC blocking capacitor, and ground electrode plates are disposed between selected portions of the first and second sets of electrode plates to form the EMI filter. In several of the embodiments, the first and second sets of electrode plates form a plurality of distinct DC blocking capacitors. The ground electrode plates cooperatively form, with the first and second sets of electrode plates, EMI filters for each of the distinct DC blocking capacitors. Discontinuous lead wires may be provided which extend at least partially into the casing, wherein a first segment of the lead wire is conductively coupled to the first set of electrode plates, and a second set of the lead wire is conductively coupled to the second set of electrode plates.

  • Patent number: 6450106
Abstract: A portable display assembly is disclosed including an elongated, curved S-shaped frame having handles extending therefrom. A pair of wheels are operably disposed on an axle attached to a lower end of the frame, and two prongs extend from the lower end of the frame to cooperatively form a supportive base. A plurality of shelves are connected to the frame such that they are capable of being selectively swivelled from one position to another. A lamp extends from an upper end of the frame, and has a pivoting section to enable the lamp to be selectively directed over portions of the assembly. In one form, the frame includes a plurality of interconnecting modular tube segments connected to one another, the shelves are removably connected to the frame, and the lamp is removably attached to the upper end of the frame so that the assembly can be broken down for storage.

  • Patent number: 6439274
Abstract: An apparatus for adding fluids to charged systems includes a cylinder having a first end cap attached to a first end thereof and a second end cap removably attached to a second end thereof. A driving nut is formed at an exterior end of a rod which extends through an aperture of the first end cap and attaches to a piston at an interior end thereof. The piston engages the cylinder to form a variable volume reservoir within the cylinder. A hose assembly extends through the second end cap so as to be in fluid communication with the variable volume reservoir. A handle, or alternatively a power tool socket, may be detachably connected to the driving nut for extending the rod into or retracting the rod out from the cylinder to adjust the variable volume reservoir within the cylinder. The cylinder may be transparent and include graduated markings for determining the amount of fluid within the variable volume reservoir at any given time.
