Abstract: A power-driven hammer including a body including a tubular housing and a barrel assembly received in the housing. The barrel assembly has an at-rest position relative to the housing. The barrel assembly includes a barrel having a forward end adapted to hold a tool, an opening, and a rearward end. The barrel assembly includes a mass received in the opening of the barrel. The mass moves in the barrel opening when the hammer is operating through a power stroke and a return stroke. The barrel assembly moves forward and rearward from its at-rest position relative to the housing when the hammer is operating. The hammer includes a vibration reducing mechanism connecting the barrel assembly to the body reducing shock transmitted to the housing as the mass moves forward and rearward in the barrel.
Abstract: A method of automatically placing pucks on a truss assembly table includes the steps of receiving input regarding the truss assembly table and a truss to be assembled on the truss assembly table, and processing the input. Locations on the truss assembly table for each puck are selected based on the processed input that optimizes the overall support given to the truss. The pucks are automatically moved to their selected locations.
Abstract: Focusing electronic mail messages in a list of messages. Category information is received for classifying particular e-mail messages or senders of the messages in the list of e-mail messages according to a category. The method also includes setting a status data associated with each of the particular messages. The status data indicates the category classified by the user. A first instruction is received from the user for focusing the particular messages according to the category. The particular messages having the status data therewith in the list are focused collectively without altering a preexisting order of the messages in the list.

Abstract: A dual mode pistol grip grease gun that operates in either the volume mode or the pressure mode. The grease gun includes a cylinder head having a handle attached thereto. Attached to the cylinder head via a shiftable link is a lever, which has a slot at one end. The shiftable link is disposed in the slot of the lever, and its position therein defines whether the grease gun is in the volume or the pressure mode. The shape of the slot is such that, when the grease gun is in volume mode and when the lever is fully pressed toward the handle, an angle defined by a first axis (defined as a line connecting a pivot point of a connection of the link to the cylinder head and a pivot point of a connection of the link to an end of the slot defining volume mode) and a second axis (defined as a line connecting the pivot point of the connection of the link to the end of the slot defining volume mode and a point along a bottom curve of the slot where the concavity of the curve changes) is approximately ten degrees.

Abstract: A workflow manager application transfers message data received from an originating device via a communication network to a target application for processing. A graphical user interface displays the received message data and allows the user to view and designate one or more target applications for processing the message data. The workflow manger application is responsive to user input to transfer message data to the designated one or more target applications for processing the message data. Alternatively, the workflow manager application analyzes received message data to identify one or more target applications, and transfers the message data to the identified one or more target applications for processing.
Abstract: A mine ventilation and bridge structure incorporating a bridge feature enabling a mine vehicle to cross over the structure. The structure comprises a pair of generally parallel and spaced-apart side walls defining opposing side walls and a plurality of elongate deck panels extending between the side walls. At least one deck panel of the plurality of deck panels is a reinforced bridge deck panel constructed to support the weight of a vehicle crossing over the mine ventilation and bridge structure.

Abstract: An LED night-light includes a housing with a threaded, cylindrical opening having an interior surface adapted to receive a threaded end of a light bulb. First and second prongs are supported in parallel by the housing. The prongs have interior ends extending into an interior of the housing and exterior ends extending out of the housing such that the exterior ends are configured to engage an electrical outlet. A disk is received in and supported by a groove in the interior surface. A light-emitting diode (LED) is mounted on the disk. The night-light further includes a circuit board including an LED driver circuit electrically connected to the LED. The driver circuit energizes the LED when the first and second prongs are plugged into an electrical outlet connected to a power source.

Abstract: A light-emitting apparatus includes a housing defining an interior space. A light-emitting diode in the interior space of the housing projects upward from the interior bottom surface. A support surface in the interior space above the light-emitting diode is configured to support a candle in the interior space over the light-emitting diode so that the light-emitting diode is hidden from view.
Abstract: A torsion angle sensor for measuring the torsion angle of two shafts coupled with one another having two planetary gear sets coupled via a shared planet carrier, with the sun gear of each gear set being connected to one of the two shafts respectively; including an arrangement whereby when a torsion angle is created between the two shafts, a movable internal gear of one of the planetary gear sets is rotated corresponding to the torsion angle, with its outer surface driving a sensor gear, which is connected to a rotational position sensor, the output signal of which is proportional to the torsion angle.
Abstract: The invention relates to an auxiliary lubrication unit for lubricant introduction devices. The unit comprises a base body (2), in whose longitudinal bore (10) a control piston (6) is displaced axially by a spring (4) towards a seal (9) and also comprises lateral connections (1a, 1p) of a chamber (11) that is delimited by the control piston (6) in the longitudinal bore (10). The connections run from a lubricant pump and to an installation that is to be supplied with lubricant and allowing lubricant to be transported, in the sealing position of the control piston (6), through the chamber (11) from the lubricant pump to the installation. If the pump fails, the control piston (6) can be displaced by remains of auxiliary lubricant from its sealing position, in opposition to the action of the spring (4), into a position in which the connection (1a) to the installation is open and the connection (1p) to the lubricant pump is closed, enabling the installation to the filled with the auxiliary lubricant.
Abstract: Analyzing a device under test (“DUT”) at higher frequencies. A phase shifter varies the phase of a standing wave on a transmission line coupled to the DUT.
